He absolutely lied. Flynn was talking to the Russian ambassador. The ambassador asked him about the sanctions Obama put on in support of his “Russia election interference” narrative.
Flynn told him he could not discuss that, it would have to be a topic for another day.
When Pence asked, he accurately said he did not discuss sanctions. Pence said that telling someone you cannot discuss a topic IS discussing the topic.
So he runs to Meet the Press claimed Flynn lied to him.
That put Trump in a corner.

One question; If they had video of Alex Jones saying it was a fake and no kids were killed, wouldn’t they have been running that video 24/7?
