A report released Sunday in The New York Times reveals multiple pardons handed out in the final weeks of President Joe Biden’s presidency were signed by an autopen—some lacking Biden’s final authorization. (snip)
The Times claims internal emails “show that the Biden White House had a process to establish that Mr. Biden had orally made decisions in meetings before the staff secretary, Stefanie Feldman, who managed use of the autopen, would have clemency records put through the signing device.”
But then comes the line that seemingly undercuts the entire narrative being peddled by The Times:
“Mr. Biden did not individually approve each name for the categorical pardons that applied to large numbers of people, he and aides confirmed. Rather, after extensive discussion of different possible criteria, he signed off on the standards he wanted to be used to determine which convicts would qualify for a reduction in sentence,” The Times’ Charlie Savage and Tyler Pager wrote.
According to the report citing an aide, however, “small changes to the list” kept occurring after Biden “signed off,” and so, “Rather than ask Mr. Biden to keep signing revised versions, his staff waited and then ran the final version through the autopen, which they saw as a routine procedure.”(snip)
In reality, The Times offers no tangible proof that Biden personally approved anything at all. Every detail hangs on either Biden’s word, emails saying it happened or secondhand spin from anonymous aides still clearly desperate to convince the public the president was in charge. (snip)
The report comes just weeks after Neera Tanden, former head of Biden’s Domestic Policy Council, admitted before the House Oversight Committee in a closed-door hearing that she authorized autopen signatures on documents without knowing who issued the final approval, according to Fox News. Tanden reportedly rarely interacted with Biden.

Maybe it was routine.
Then any pardons via autopen not authorized by Biden should be revoked.
and yet, formers President Biden said explicitly in the interview that he himself approved ALL pardons, thus end of story, fini ... period ... no minion’s word will stand up against the word of a President ...

the actual YUGE issues that matter regarding the survival of our Republic are issues such as border control, ejecting illegal aliens, esp. violent illegal alien criminals, staving off the rise of the Zohran branch of the Democrats to national power, preservation of free speech, reshoring manufacturing, maintaining energy independence, squashing the Democrats insane and pointless waste of billions of dollars on mandating “green energy” and nearly useless EVs, dumping CAFE standards, and dismantling the rest of the biden-era agenda, dismantling the rest of the Deep State by rooting out Deep State spending and Deep State government traitors and sending a few of the big fish to prison ...
autopen and epstein are nothing but tilting at windmills ...
The White House relies on the Office of Pardon Attorney to make recommendations and take applications on pardons. That will likely give cover to the Biden gang.

That G*dD@mned greasy piece of shit should never have had any authority to pardon anybody. His "authority" was stolen from Trump through vote fraud in 2020, and I still want the government to foot stomp everyone involved in stealing the 2020 election and putting that nasty, perverted, corrupt, senile, piece of shit into power.
No signature is required for pardons...I believe the pardons are good based on his instructions.......EXCEPT those given to any folks who have not been cited or convicted of a crime...and that means Fauci in particular.
So they’re just going to do a soft admission. We did it, so what.
I am waiting for the Democrats to produce a document where Biden authorized the pardon or commutation list of 1500 people and the document is signed with Biden’s AUTOPEN!!!!!!
If The Times is willing to publish this, you know they fear how much more will come out. They want to get out in front on the minimum that they can admit to.
He blinked one time for yes and zero times for no.
Interesting. I thought the blinking meant to alert people he was being held hostage, by Jill.

Biden couldn’t get past the first dit.
While I do support Trump and voted for him, I’m sorely disappointed in his actions regarding Epstein and I’m now reading rumors of illegal immigrant amnesty. It beginning to seem that he make s promises & beats on his chest, but I’m becoming disillusioned with regards to his promises. The soap opera of American politics continues and I think this too will be swept under the rug. Apologies for the cynicism and I hope I’m wrong.
Minimal, Limited, Hangout?
It’s irrelevant that they were signed by autopen.
And what is “final authorization”.? I don’t see that anywhere in the Constitution.
Like it or not, Biden said he approved pardons and commutations. From the NYT article:
“Mr. Biden said that he had orally granted all the pardons and commutations issued at the end of his term”
Done. Over. The pardon power is a plenary power of the President (Executive).
Nothing that he didn’t sign himself should be trusted.
For that matter, since he never knew what he was signing, nothing he signed himself should be trusted either.
Someone is claiming he said it, unless there’s a video.
That said, a dementia patient cannot even alter a will because they are not of sound mind.
How can he have had enough wherewithal to issue pardons?
Those are ultimately political questions.
It’s a non-justiceable issue.
“It’s a non-justiceable issue.”
If Fauci is charged criminally. The judge that has the case has to decide whether he has been pardoned. I don’t see how it cannot come up before a judge in that situation for decision.
