"After I see the people run, I just see something big, just walking just right over there, it went right over there I swear, I promise you, it went right over there. And it said 'rawr,' and I just kept walking," he recalled. "I seen it, seeing me, see it, so in my head I’m like, ‘Nah, I got to go man, I’m out.'"

Jones said he remains on edge.

"I am going to keep this bat right here, man, just in case," he said during Thursday's interview. "I am going to protect us, I ain’t going to let nothing happen to us, nothing. OK?"

Haven’t gotten over the dinosaurs on Noah’s ark, have you?

Outside of the Florida panther I’ve always thought the big cats were only located in the far West states. Pretty wild if they’ve made it to the East coast now. Upstate NY has a huge number of forested areas where a mountain lion could live undetected. Just one more thing to worry about when camping. I sure hope the grizzle’s don’t migrate this way, black bears are enough lol.

After all, the old nickname for Fort Worth used to be “Pantherville”.

That really doesn't have anything to do with real cats. Someone derisively said Fort Worth is so dull panthers sleep on the courthouse steps.

Unless it was a escapee.

No racoon dogs in North American,

As far as a 60lb racoon that would absolutely a huge one.

I have shot and trapped hundred of racoons.

But there were no dinosaurs on Noah’s Ark.

Can you clarify what you meant in this post?:

The standard belief system for academics is a religion.

If you show evidence the flood of Noah’s time killed the dinosaurs, they refuse to accept the facts.

The Tarzan movie is great, it shows someone trying to figure out New York City. Turns out that NYC and the jungle aren’t all that different, except Tarzan has a higher moral standard.

And as development encroaches on their habitat, we have many more sightings in Lee and Collier counties. Someone caught a mom and two cubs on their swamp cam in 2019. In march 2025 one was struck by a car here in Lee county. 1.5 yr old female, at the age when mom turns them loose to establish their own territory. be careful driving back roads at night, we have panthers and gators using the highways. I’m been waiting to run across a gator at night in the road to see if my tesla has a gator symbol on the driving display.

Nah.
Mountain lions (pumas, back east in the New York and Pennsylvania wilderness days) won’t eat today’s homeless meatballs. (It’s the drugs - They taste too bitter from the meth and crack.)

I’ve seen a few. Folks say that 95% are unseen.

And even fewer folks see you, a sasquatch!

Those aren't original Florida panthers - they're much larger Texas cats brought here by sentimentalist assholes and out of state Ivy League leftists to enrich enviro NGOs and grab land rights. Worse boondoggle than the wolf "reintroductions" out west.

They're encroaching on our habitat - not the other way around - and should be exterminated if we're serious about our natural fauna.

A long time ago someone here in PA had a mountain lion as a pet and it got free. The whole county was looking for it, and damn if it didn’t run right through my back yard one morning.

There are wild panthers in upstate NY. I’ve seen them twice in my life.

I dunno. Didn’t a cat sneak into the zoo in SoCal , and eat their koala? That’s gotta taste pretty bad, what with the eucalyptus diet.

Point taken. I now see what you were posting about.

I really enjoyed reading Tarzan of the Apes when I was a kid. After reading how Tarzan traveled long distances at fantastic speeds swinging through the branches I actually made some futile attempts in the area near my house, above the forest floor, to mimic Tarzan’s methods. Didn’t last long, but at least I emerged without injury.

Actually the guy in your post represents the complete opposite of Curtis Jones. It seems your ability to perceive and communicate is radically flawed.

The human brain is like a computer. Perception and communication are the input/output of brain function. When a computer makes errors, the outcome can be disastrous.

I don’t know what your daily activities are, but anyone in your vicinity or within your sphere of influence should step away from you for their own safety and well being.
