Does this mean Bongino will resign and go back to talk radio?

It’s Axios so I don’t put too much stock in any of this.

But I do think the Epstein files are important.
And I do think the Trump Admin is handling this extremely poorly.

Consider the source. Axios.

Of the 3, Bongino is the only one I would trust. The “jury is out” on Kash ...just not sure about him ...Bondi has screwed this up from the gitgo by overpromising and waaay underdelivering ...she needs to go; but, who is confirmable to be her replacement???

Two sources familiar with Bongino's position say he was increasingly displeased with Bondi's handling of the Epstein case because she had publicly overpromised and underdelivered disclosures about an Epstein "client list" that apparently never existed.

This makes some sense. It doesn't sound like Bongino is accusing Bondi of hiding/not disclosing information. He's apparently angry that her comments raised expectations that the evidence could not fulfill. That seems like a pretty reasonable point of view.

Hey Danny Banjo, grow a set and just release the list. To hell with DC and their cover ups.

Bongino’s silence on X/Twitter on Bondi decision spoke volumes.if FBI is to recover its reputation, this obvious cover-up puts a wrench in same. he is not one to cave on matters of principle - ha!

That’s it. I am done defending Bondi. She needs to resign. Guess she lost her nerve.

Members of the administration disagree with each other?

Shocking.

They should all be in lockstep like the Dems do.

I trust Axios about as much as I trust Zohran Mamdani to embrace capitalism and the Founding Fathers.

Comms on this have been horrid.

To be honest I don’t want the list, I get why Trump doesn’t want to out people that may not have been involved with the kids.

What I DO want, however, is a very high communication task force with a # publicized of the # of agents on the task force to hunt down and end every single adult in the thousands of child porn tapes they say they have. It’s not just kids on those tapes - every one of those cretins need to be strung up.

I also want the now-grown kids who are getting money from the virgin islands settlement to be interviewed and asked to identify any and all of their tormentors so that their prosecutions can be sought.

This thing isn’t going away and is about to become a bigger issue than most here suspect. Polls show 66% of Americans want the Epstein files released. Just firing Bondi isn’t going to be sufficient.

I can only conclude that whatever is being covered up is more important, in the minds of Trump and his officers, than the right of the people in a Republic to know the full truth. Are there secrets that are too dangerous for the public to know? Yes, but this does not seem like that sort of thing.

Trafficking girls/young women for sex is deplorable, and matters; I’m all for outing the perpetrators and consumers. But it is not a National Security Issue, unless the government is in on it.

IMHO, here is what matters at the National Security level (feel free to add more):

>What was Epstein up to, in terms of espionage and influence operations?
>Was he recruiting/running any of his clients as agents?
>Which US agencies/personnel gave him cover or were in on it?
>What US political figures, government employees, major business leaders, et al., were in Epstein’s network?
>What foreign intel entities was Epstein working with or for?
>Does the US get something from those entities that is so valuable that revealing their role with E is too high a price? Would revelations about Israeli or British spying cause a break with Israel or Britain? (It is assumed that E worked for Mossad, so how would that be news?)
>What US interests were compromised through E’s operations?
>Was Epstein silenced to prevent him from talking about the above?
>What does the National Security Division of the FBI have in its files about Epstein and his operations?

I would like to see Trump cause Bondi & Patel to address all of these. If they can look us in the face and say that they are sure after extensive investigation that no US interests, personnel, agencies, politicians, business leaders, allies, etc. were compromised or involved, so be it.

One of the reasons Trump was elected and his greatest legacy (if he pulls it off) will be the restoration of voters faith in their government.

Right now the Epstein situation (along with JFK, MLK, and RFJ murders...Seith Reich and a host of others) really make people question our government and its ethics. Most of us look at the J 6 trials, Russia-gate, the CCP attempt to put Biden in office, the judicial attacks on Trump as other examples of a corrupt government system.

So this is about clean government and people's faith in government. That is why this is more important that protecting political allies and their intelligence agencies.

White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Harrison Fields released a statement on the Bondi-Bongino clash.

“President Trump has assembled a highly qualified and experienced law and order team dedicated to protecting Americans, holding criminals accountable, and delivering justice to victims. This work is being carried out seamlessly and with unity. Any attempt to sow division within this team is baseless and distracts from the real progress being made in restoring public safety and pursuing justice for all,” Harrison Fields said.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt provided a statement to NBC News: “President Trump is proud of Attorney General Bondi’s efforts to execute his Make America Safe Again agenda, restore the integrity of the Department of Justice, and bring justice to victims of crime. The continued fixation on sowing division in President Trump’s Cabinet is baseless and unfounded in reality.”
