I once heard tell of how deep undercover CIA spooks or the type of Spook that is not official but you have to keep paper files on them with no computer files would have tax audit cases thrown out if Federal or State tried to audit them.

Has Alex Acosta ever categorically denied he was told that?

Most people have no idea that the CIA tried to get rid of an Indonesian leader with the help of Bing Crosby. They created a fake porn tape. There are disputes of whether they used a mask. The guy who the CIA used as a cutout to get mobsters to kill Castro is the same guy involved in this escapade. He was involved in some of the dirtiest deeds of the CIA as their Cutout. He had, at one time, been the right hand man of Howard Hughes.
If you step back and think about what has been admitted to in the CIA Family Jewels along with bits and pieces throughout the years it is not a stretch to think Mossad and US used Epstein.
Bondi debacle of the handling of this has been something to see. Not smart enough to know how to orchestrate a cover up and bungled it badly.

You would have to look up the facts but it goes something like this....Barr’s dad was OSS. Went to work at Dalton School as HeadMaster in 60s to 70s. Epstein was a dropout but was hired to teach at the school and about two years later got a job at Bear Sterns

Which statement. Both are true.
First, read the history of Barr re OSS and CIA. Also include his time on the faculty at Columbia where his son Bill graduated. Immediately after graduation Bill joined the CIA. They even paid for his law school at Georgetown.

It is unclear whether Barr hired Epstein. In 1973, Barr published Space Relations, a science fiction novel about a planet ruled by oligarchs who engage in child sex slavery. If there are national security implications all the administration could have said is this:
“Our review of the Epstein files has revealed some national security issues that we need to address. As a result we are deferring further action until those matters are resolved.”

He said. Did he ever produce his source(s) for that claim.
The Steele Dosier said Trump was in the pocket of Putin. Did it ever prove the claim? No.
