“My guess, The war in Ukraine”

Agree. I suspect that Putin will tell Trump that when he sees NATO winding down the war, he’ll wind down too, without having to sign anything.

Time to end our involvement in this war and to bring Russia into a new alliance of non-communist, anti-LGBT nations.

He probably will have plenty of time for a phone call.

I hope Trump invites Putin to the 250th. Will be good to see 2 great leaders side by side.

Disagree completely. Putin has no intention of winding anything down just because NATO does — in fact, he’s counting on NATO fatigue to seize even more ground. Let’s be clear: NATO isn’t winding down; it’s winding up precisely because of Putin’s relentless war games. His invasion and aggression have directly led to NATO’s expansion with Finland and Sweden — something unthinkable before his warmongering began. Waiting for Putin to voluntarily de-escalate is a dangerous fantasy; he only respects strength and unity, and the West must show both without hesitation.

“Disagree completely. Putin has no intention of winding anything down just because NATO does.”

I didn’t say he would end things, because he wants a COMPREHENSIVE agreement before doing so...but he will greatly taper-off, perhaps even a temporary cease fire (at least until NATO violates it, yet again).

If negotiations on the Comprehensive Agreement don’t go well...then back to combat.

That’s my predication - let’s see who gets it right!

Putin has an economic, political, and strategic problem.

He has a failing economy due to the prolonged Ukraine war and problems peddling his main output, oil and gas, to Europe.

He has a problem with delivery of supplies to his military, and that puts his entire nation in danger from a real (not imagined NAZI adversary) in the south that wants Siberian resources. Russia has burned through most of it’s reserves and will have to convert to complete wartime economy to continue soon.

He should have listed to Trump and cut a peace deal when Trump got go little z to start listening to reason. Instead, Vlad the Invader thought he would take more territory and ‘expand influence’. Bad Choice, like Iran, there have been consequences. Time for Vlad to cut a deal.

I would be happy to not have to hear about Little z anymore, or how much ‘money’ and ‘supplies’ they need for a long time.

Exactly, reopen Trade and Commerce with Russia, they have much of what the West needs….the prices of goods will decrease for much of the planet…

…..just ask the EU about their 4x increases and tumbling standard of living.

They blew up the Nordstream pipeline……fools. Germany manufacturing has absolutely cratered, factories shut down , anything and everything tied to Russia’s cheap energy has seen historic increases.
