Thank you very much and God bless you.
Glad to see this crap over with. It’s really obnoxious, old and tired. Juries are really clown shows.
Jury nullification.
That is totally weird.....................
I am too
Get blacks on jury = perp walks if well funded.
Now the jury can sell book deals and won’t be accused of ‘putting a black man’ in jail.
O.J. showed what a joke our system of justice is.
As did J6.
What is ‘Mann Act transportation’ ?
“The Mann Act, also known as the White-Slave Traffic Act of 1910, makes it a federal crime to transport individuals across state lines for the purpose of prostitution or any other immoral activity. It was originally intended to combat human trafficking but has been used in various ways, including against consensual sexual conduct.”
That’s what they tried to get Matt Gaetz on. I hope Trump sees through this BS and does the right thing. The whole trial has been a sham.
Told y’all and I didn’t have to pay attention to the trial at all.
Looks like it. Still, he was convicted of two counts of the Mann act. That’s going to hurt. He could get ten years for each count.
I didn’t
The federal statute 18 U.S.C. § 2421 is a serious legal provision that criminalizes the act of transporting an individual across state lines with the intent of engaging in illegal sexual activities. This law, often referred to as the Mann Act, was originally enacted to address issues of human trafficking and has evolved to cover a broader range of offenses. Understanding the scope and application of this statute is crucial for anyone facing charges related to illegal sex activity transportation.

Transporting Someone for Illegal Sex Activity (18 U.S.C. § 2421)
It is the responsibility of the defense to strategically select jurors who, based on their backgrounds, beliefs, or experiences, may be more receptive to the arguments advanced in favor of the defendant.
I have a friend who started out in the ‘80s as an attorney taking CJA (court appointed) cases in D.C., as many of us did. He tried maybe thirty cases before juries and lost them all. Then, he was assigned a client who was literally caught in the parking lot with a gun and the money, and the jury came back not guilty.
So Chuck Berry went to prison under the Mann act for crossing state lines with his live in girlfriend. Puff daddy it seems did more than that.
What? The guy is an abusing dirt bag. Trump shouldn’t give him a thought.
I don’t get it. He’s guilty of taking individuals across state lines for prostitution, but he’s not guilty of trafficking, despite the fact that the name of the law he was found guilty of has the word traffic in it. I’m surprised they didn’t bitch because of the word “white” in the law.
I guess guilty on 2 counts of 5 is a miracle in NYC.
Yup, Diddy basically got a slap on the wrist. Way too many bigwigs were connected with him. They made sure he was protected.
