U.S. — In the wake of the United States Supreme Court ruling that will effectively prevent district courts from issuing nationwide injunctions, a district court issued a nationwide injunction against the Supreme Court ruling.
In a stinging rebuke, Federal Judge James Boasberg handed down a nationwide decision against the Supreme Court, which struck down the Supreme Court's ruling that he and other lower court judges had no authority to hand down nationwide decisions.
"This nationwide injunction holds that the Supreme Court's ruling against our nationwide injunctions is unconstitutional," Boasberg said in his ruling. "The United States Supreme Court, despite holding ultimate legal authority over all other courts in the country, simply holds no authority over any other court in the country. I hereby decree that any ruling that declares our injunction unconstitutional is unconstitutional. Checkmate, Supreme Court."
Legal experts warned that the ongoing volley of rulings between district courts and the Supreme Court would potentially create an endless loop that would endanger the universe. "The space-time continuum could be at risk," said Dr. Emmett L. Brown. "We will eventually reach a point where so many contradictory rulings will be issued that we will all be trapped in a never-ending cycle of litigation at the federal level, grinding the nation to a halt and causing the fall of human civilization. We're already dealing with a paradox in which a lower court that is subject to rulings from the Supreme Court is attempting to exert authority over its superiors, which is illogical and ludicrous."
At publishing time, Judge Boasberg had issued a gag order over Dr. Brown and declared him unconstitutional.

You know federal judges have gotten out of hand when you say to yourself “I hope this is the Bee”.
The headline is actually not that unbelievable considering the rulings from some of the judges.
Speaking of SCOTUS, they issued Orders today on the final day of this term. Some cases were sent back to lower courts for re-hearing based upon decisions made by SCOTUS this term.
