So, he’s already a convicted rapist? Weird. I don’t want to sound too cynical, but it would be convenient to “solve” a cold case simply by convicting a man already at death’s door, and already convicted of the same crime - especially if he’s already in prison (assuming he is).

Nice but the UK lamer/chickenshit police should be going after todays criminals. Most of them immigrants. But the police there are too lazy and are fearful of going out in the field to do proper investigations. They are scared of bodily harm by these psycho-migrants. Many who carry knives.
Too many fat useless lady-policemen who are physically incapable of engaging with UK migrant criminals.
