I clicked on the link and watched Mamdani's interview with Jen Saki, where he claims to have won back 2024 Trump voters.

No, he didn't.
NY Democrats who voted for Trump in 2024 voted for Cuomo on Tuesday.

Mamdani's voters and contributors were upscale progressive members of New York's elites, not working class Trump voters.

Actually it’s been well noted that part of Trump’s success were the dents he made among registered Democrats in parts of NY…Some AOC voters are on the record for voting Trump because they are both viewed as anti-establishment bulwarks against the DC “uniparty.” I personally know of a Bernie Sanders supporter who voted for Trump. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I too wonder about how he and his parents got to come here.

The problem with this election is two fold; first it was NOT a straight election, it was one of those stupid ones...a RANKED one and secondly, very few people turned out to vote.

This was a DEM PRIMARY election, so GOPers could NOT vote in it!
