“Evidently they consider war to be a spectator sport where you wave your pom-poms for your team.”

Looks like snow-flakism conquered your being. According to the self-righteous chiding of people like you, Americans can no longer be Americans, and that song gives one particular attribute. They were having fun with it.

Why don’t you take a trip to Iran and protest that regimes murderous activity, which they do indeed think is a spectator sport.

Years ago when it was still played at Rosenblatt, I sent a letter to a paper in Baton Rouge stating we need to rename Omaha to North Baton Rouge. They called me to verify & published it. Best college baseball fans in the world.

Struck a nerve, did I?

For or against it, war ain't a football game, Skippy.

Lots of people die.

If you think that's something to cheer for, I pity you.

I’ve noticed that the America hating left and the fringe nutjob “right” will often have the same opinions. Both loath any expression of American power and success because they both want America to lose.

That Toby Keith song came out in 2002 and is older than those kids. They probably listened to it in the car with dad.

“Struck a nerve, did I?”

No, you flatter yourself. I did not know this site atracted geldings.

“For or against it, war ain’t a football game, Skippy.”

Well, the article was not about war and it was a baseball game, Skippy.

“Lots of people die.”

I suppose you think you came up with a zinger with that one.

“If you think that’s something to cheer for, I pity you.”

I said not one word about war, it was a baseball game, I am a LSU baseball fan, and I am glad they won and were having a good time.

You are so stupid.
