President Donald Trump issued a blunt warning to Israel on Tuesday to “not bomb Iran” as he departed for the NATO summit in The Hague, taking a critical position just 24 hours after brokering a fragile ceasefire already threatened after a missile strike from Iran.
Speaking to reporters before takeoff, the president said that both Israel and Iran had breached the terms of the truce and made clear he was “not pleased” with Israel’s promise to launch retaliatory airstrikes after agreeing to the deal.
Asked by a reporter about whether Iran had violated the ceasefire Trump replied: “They violated but Israel violated it, too.”
The president continued: “Israel as soon as we made the deal they came out and they dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I had never seen before. The biggest load that we have seen. I’m not happy with Israel.”
He added: “You know, when I say ‘okay, now you have 12 hours’ – you don’t go out in the first hour just drop everything you have on them. So I’m not happy with them. I’m not happy with Iran either. But I’m really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning because the one rocket that didn’t land, that was shot, perhaps by mistake, that didn’t land, I’m not happy about that.”

And therefore won’t happen.
Most Americans support Israel.
Right. There could be internal, factional, and even individual power struggles. A lot of chaos, and power plays... one could imagine.
So if they launch missiles, that kills the cease fire right there.
Is Israel supposed to do nothing?
If you don’t respond tit-for-tat, then you need to express a diplomatic reason for it. IE: “We are going to let you have that one. Now honor the cease fire”. Otherwise, you are inviting more attacks.
The question is, who is doing the communicating (the outward facing strategic decision making) for Iran?

By mistake? Lol. Right. Just a premature jihadification is all it was.
Iran will never abide by any agreement — not nuclear, not ceasefire, not anything. The sooner Trump recognizes that, the better.
I disagree, Israel has complete command and control of its own Military, and is aware that the Iranians no longer have the same command and control of their units. Tit of Tat is a child’s game. Israel should hold their side of the cease fire.
Who’s running the show in Iran right now is the question.
Trump should have consulted with Freepers before trusting those nasty Iranian Muslims. We know better than Trump about how duplicitous and evil they are.;-)

IRANIAN HARD LINER: WHAT? Show me the written order that authorized you to do that!
IRANIAN DIPLOMAT: For Allah's sake, we are at war, you idiot, being bombed night and day. Almost all of our communications are disabled. This was a face to face meeting where he asked us to do this.
IRANIAN HARD LINER: Prove it! You get me proof right now, or you are going to be charged as a traitor to the revolution! And they will take care of you with piano wire in the Evin Prison. (points to hard faced men wearing all black and brandishing AK-47s)

IRANIAN DIPLOMAT: Okay! I will call the Israelis and tell them it is off, that we don't agree.

People are dumb to think a ceasefire like this could go off without a few hiccups. Think about it: the bombs were just dropped on Saturday evening and by Monday evening the is talk of ceasefire. That is probably some kind of record right there. Who knows if there might be rogue units in Iran at this stage. I say again that the Iran leadership definitely does not want the US to go to war against them, and that is why there is talk of cease fire so quickly. They also know they could push Trump too far and that would be the end of them. I believe these latest tit for tat attacks will be the end of it. Trump knows who hes dealing with.

i think he knows that.
i dont blame israel for iran violating the cease fire either or them hitting back after iran voided that cease fire.
ANOTHER thing that increases my support for trump is his unwavering even handedness in his criticisms.
even if i disagree with him on an issue he calls things as he sees them, and that's refreshing
