My late father
absolutely HATED the notion of a computerized *anything* in a car or truck.
I can still hear him now. "A car only needs gas, air and electricity. It don't need no stupid computer!"
The older I get the more profound his wisdom is.

Wow....glad I drive older cars that I don’t require mortgages.

Yeah and these cyber crooks have god-like powers of invisibility and money that must go from you to them is invisible too.
We either have to start paying protection to these guys or we have to start treating them like the massive threat that they are. This ain’t some pimply fatboy his mommies basement.

Not an expert, but if you do not pay to have your VEHICLE connected to wifi, it probably can’t be hacked? We need an IT guy to chime in here.

Always keep your fobs locked in a faraday box. They sell pouches for them too, you can take with you if you’re out shopping.

I don’t own it. I just lease it. It’s Nissan’s problem, not mine if it happens.

I drive a 2000 Saturn SL2, a 1999 F-150, and a 2003 GMC 2500. Good luck trying to hold those hostage.

In a world where drivers expect more than just horsepower...I don't. Which is why we buy base trims.
