Author Stephen King compared Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to Nazis, framing them as an “American Gestapo.”
King issued his statement about ICE on his Blue Sky account. The acclaimed author also misspelled “gestapo.”
“ICE looking more and more like the American Gestpo [sic],” he wrote.

I think Stephen NoKings managed to do it by getting run over by a car while he was riding his bike a number of years ago. He recently celebrated the 26th anniversary of getting run over while riding his bike on 19 June 1999.

Funny. And here I was thinking Stephen King was looking more and more like another boring old lefty windbag scold who should be retired and enjoying his wealth now. I see him sitting on a beach somewhere, probably with Bruce Springsteen in the chair next to him, and they’d be toasting each other with shots of Geritol and talking on and on about their glory days.
I completely agree with him, but I need to add, looks can be deceiving.
The most important word in the English language is “why”. It marks the difference between killing in self defense and murder.
And the reason Ice is doing what it is doing is completely different between what the gestapo was doing. ICE is rounding up people who are here ILLEGALLY, and shipping them out of the country, not to death camps.
His is the attitude of a child, which points out why we don’t let children vote.
