You do realize that has been going on for decades, accompanied with very strange circumstances. For example, no blood, no predator will come close to the carcasses etc.
You evidently would not care if someone destroyed thousands of dollars worth of your property.
I want to believe.
Just what is it about cattle anatomy the aliens can’t figure out? Traveling across the vast void of space, to chop up some cows, doesn’t seem like a worthy endeavor. Maybe next time they can toss a few in the trunk and study them at home in a more thorough fashion.

Since the 70s I believe. Almost all the reports are about the same, at least in regards to the condition of the animals.
Variations set in in details about the other circumstances. Most predominate are either helicopters, or UFOs, or both.
