You could be forgiven for believing that the California senator got himself handcuffed on purpose.
After “sitting U.S. senator” Alex Padilla barged into Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem’s press conference and got himself forcibly (and rightly) tossed out of the room and handcuffed, leftists across America (again!) want us to be aghast at the Trump administration. It almost seems as though the whole episode was planned! Knowing Democrats as we do, almost certainly it was a planned stunt, done solely for political theatrics.
Democrats across the U.S. are desperate to sway the electorate in their favor, so I’m not surprised by most anything they will pull at this point. They’re even calling out Barack Obama for supposedly not doing enough to counter the Trump administration.
All Senator Padilla’s stunt is likely to do is to further embolden and enrage the already unhinged elements that are so prominent in his party. I write this only hours after Senator Padilla’s antics, and I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the Democrats’ lackeys who are so eager to engage in violence take Senator Padilla’s actions as a cue to take things up a notch.
This is especially true given the frothy-mouth responses of Senator Padilla’s colleagues in the U.S. House and Senate. “How dare they do such to a sitting U.S. senator?” — or something to that effect — was a regular refrain by Democrats and their media allies. Elected Democrats are enraged, and they want you — or as many Americans as possible — enraged as well. How soon they forget what their faithful are capable of.

Did you see where the Defenders of Democracy in Oregon are passing a law so that elections to fill in Senate vacancies will be replaced by the Governor appointing their own choice? The vast majority of states do it that way, but the irony of the Dems going the other way is just more evidence of what they are truly about.
In today’s world, where the internet enhances the free exchange of ideas, the left are more and more left with only two options to gain power: Steal elections and violent protests (AKA riots).
They’ve been stripped of the former, which leaves only the latter.
And let’s be honest. Most of them are kids under 25 years old. They are like the kid throwing a tantrum at the checkout counter because mom won’t buy them a piece of candy.
I hope ICE grabs Padilla Gorilla when nobody is looking.
Sane people will not look upon this stunt positively.

The distinguished Senator must be kicking himself this morning. He planned this, hoped to be manhandled, had his presser already set up, had his useful-idiot comrades in Congress ready to scream bloody murder...and then Israel goes and screws up the whole works by obliterating Iran’s nuclear program and a bunch of its leaders, stealing all the weekend headlines.
Act like a fool, pay the price.

The 17th amendment should be repealed. The founding fathers intended that Senators would represent the states. The house represent the people.
Which is why censorship is important. I won't be surprised if the UK decides to ban X.

Yes, completely organized and pre-staged. My unsolicited Apple “news” feed pinged a “breaking” alert that “outrage” was growing over the “forcible removal” of a senator from a briefing. Top story, like nothing else is happening in the world right now.
