My son in law works for a mission agency helping victims of human trafficking. His general area of responsibility is South Sudan. He’s based stateside and normally goes there a couple times a year.

The unrest is so great he’s not able to trace there anymore.

Actually, Nauru is in the Western Pacific. But the other 24 all seem to be in Africa.

Not taking abortion into account, for some reason. That would flip a few tables.

I went with Somalia, #6. Good job. I would not have guessed Nigeria, they have so many princes there.

If abortions were included as mortality, the chart would look very different.

From Gemini AI:

Nauru, a small island nation in the Pacific, faces a severe obesity problem, often cited as having one of the highest obesity rates in the world. This is a complex issue with deep historical and socioeconomic roots, leading to devastating health consequences for its population.
