Russia presented Ukraine with a "peace memo" on Monday stating its terms for a ceasefire and peace deal, though the Russian position effectively remains unchanged, a Ukrainian official told Axios.

The talks ended after about an hour with no clear breakthrough beyond an agreement for another prisoner exchange. Russia continues to reject President Trump's demand for an immediate ceasefire.
Ukraine's defense minister said all POWs who are under 25 or in serious medical condition will be exchanged.
The Russian position as stated in the peace memo remains "as usual," and includes demands that Ukraine withdraw from regions of Ukraine that Russia claims, a Ukrainian official said.
The Russians also proposed returning 10 children taken from Ukraine into Russia by July 10, two Ukrainian officials said, noting that was a fraction of the number of Ukrainian children held in Russia.

Andryi Yermak, President Volodymyr Zelensky's chief of staff, said Ukraine gave Russia a list of Ukrainian children it wants returned.
The head of Russia's negotiating team, Vladimir Madinsky, denied in the meeting that tens of thousands of Ukrainian children had been abducted by Russia, calling it propaganda, according to the two Ukrainian officials.
"Stop throwing around crazy numbers. We will return everyone who is in the Russian Federation. There is no kidnapping. Russian soldiers do not kidnap. They only saved them because their lives were at risk. Do not put on a show for European compassionate aunties who do not have children themselves," Madinsky said.

Yup, Russia keeps presenting the same surrender demands to Ukraine. Disarm, withdraw from currently Ukraine held territory, forsake NATO, recognize Russian ownership of seized territory, de-nazify(stop being Ukrainians), etc.
This ridiculous Trump peace kabuki is over. Trump’s neocon handlers were never going to let him be successful. There will be no further terms other than unconditional surrender.
The drone attacks are going to continue and increase. A lot.
Russia may be better served by not responding with missile attacks on Uke cities and instead use their resources to hid what they have left that’s undamaged.
Refusing to surrender your own country is a “demand” now. Amazing bit of mental gynmastics and gaslighting by the Moscow Kremlin and its useful fools.

Looks like somebody did not get the memo, to dial back the hubris. The Russian reps agreed to the the next phase of peace talks.
Things have gotten real in the Russian rear, and the money is running out. The pros know there is no way for them mitigate the effects of the Bone-Crushing Sanctions Bill (SB 1241) advancing toward law in the USA. It seems like the West has called Russia’s bluff on nuclear war, and bluffing was the biggest card they had left.

Russia will have to pay the iron price for unconditional surrender. A lot more dead Ivans. A lot more.
Russians should revisit their own classic tale, Pushkin’s “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish” and remember the fisherman’s wife who wanted too much and in the end, ended up with nothing.

Putin is assuring that there will be EU forces in Ukraine....France and the UK are prepared, with Poland, Sweden and Finland close behind.
Putin wants a larger meat grinder with China , Iran and the Norkies helping him out.
The recent airbase attacks have the midget sorely pished off.
Putin needs to have his ass handed to him with a very large scale occupation of Russian territory.The EU will bring it, but do they have the sauce?
