Kamala Harris left an audience baffled as she laughed and talked about Playboy magazine covers.
The former vice president also launched into a confusing 'word salad' after being asked about the importance of humility.
Her bizarre comments were made on Sunday during a question and answer session at the Australian Real Estate Conference, where she shared a 'funny' story about her mother.
Harris sat on stage with real estate industry veteran John McGrath for over an hour and recalled that her mother was very focused on women's reproductive health, which included sharing her thoughts about 'fibroids' and 'hormones.'
She said: 'My mother was actually very funny because she would say, "You look at the cover of Playboy magazine, let me just tell you, the reason that people are looking at these things, understand what they were developed for the perpetuation of the human species!" She was very practical that way.'
As Harris began laughing, McGrath responded 'A great lady,' before shifting immediately to another question.
Video of the exchange in Australia emerged on social media as an attendee at the conference recorded and shared it.
Harris was spotted at the ritzy Mosman's Bather's Pavilion restaurant in Sydney, over the weekend and spoke at the conference which cost between $995 and $1695 for a two-day pass to the event.
Harris also spoke at length about issues important to her, and launched into a lengthy 'word salad' when asked about humility.
'I don't aspire to be humble. And I don't recommend it, I think that one must be humble. But to aspire to be humble would be quite inauthentic,' she said.
'If one understands that, just, I mean, there's so much that is magnificent and awe-inspiring about this world and its people.

She was the best the Democrats had to offer.
So the best I can make sense of her comments is that one should be humble but without trying to be humble.
just sounds—devoid of meaning.
Horizontal has cracked up worse than Pedo Pete. Is there a pool on who will go next?
Helen Keller cudda seen this comin’
In a related story, Australia reports that their stockpile of boxed wine has been severely diminished. When we contacted the Harris people for a comment, the only response was a few hours of cackling.
I don't think that's why Playboy was a success.
It is quite surprising that she was quite successful as a prosecutor, but she apparently won cases and got convictions. She certainly had to stick to the specifics when she had that job.
But all my words come back to meIn all fairness to Paul Simon, mediocrity is purely aspirational for Kamala.
In shades of mediocrity
Like emptiness in harmony

Kamala has so much to be humble about.
Kammy’s new ballcap message: “Ask Me Abt My FIBROIDS!!”
One Size fits all.
She probably took credit for other people’s convictions, an old hat affirmative action ploy, sharp people save the day for dummies.
Australia Ping

“disturbing, nonsensical monologue”.... And this is different than normal how? Next Gov.
As rationalized, she does make sense. If you are trying to be humble, you are not really humble. You are in the realm of humblebrag. For example, I am humbled to win a Nobel Prize in the same year I won an Olympic gold medal. To be authentically humble, there should be no effort. Somehow, I think she would flunk a test of authentic humility.
I almost suspect she as a brain tumor. No one can be THAT stupid.
What’s even more disturbing is that they went for her.
