Thank you very much and God bless you.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogr)am).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
Enjoy today’s Cryptogram
Beautiful quote.

(m) The flag, when flown at half-staff, should be first hoisted to the peak for an instant and then lowered to the half-staff position. The flag should be again raised to the peak before it is lowered for the day. On Memorial Day the flag should be displayed at half-staff until noon only, then raised to the top of the staff. ...
Thanks for the info. I didn’t know that the 1/2 staff lasts only til noon on Memorial Day.
Thanks.
In 1999, my next door neighbor commanded the honor guard at the major league all-star game at Fenway Park. He was a reserve Army officer and former Marine officer. He also looked like a Marine officer from central casting, so for the all-star game the Marine Corps agreed to allow him to wear a Marine dress uniform. Former Marine Ted Williams called him over and shook his hand on nationwide and international live television. What a life experience!
You can be Damned-sure I got my flag protocol squared away when displaying the flag on Memorial Day.
Amen.
