President Trump in a new post on Truth Social on Sunday night accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of having gone “absolutely” crazy and said if he did not stop what he was doing, it would lead to the downfall of his country.
The social media comments came after Trump had issued some of his toughest comments about Putin earlier in remarks to reporters in New Jersey.
“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY!,” Trump wrote.
“He is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever,” Trump said.
“I’ve always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!”
Trump then turned toward Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, who he has repeatedly criticized. Zelensky on Sunday had faulted the silence of the U.S. and other countries in the wake of the latest missile and drone barrage from Russia against his country, an assault that killed a dozen people.
“Likewise, President Zelenskyy is doing his Country no favors by talking the way he does,” Trump said.

C’mon, Poopers -start trashing POTUS now for finally calling out Putin for what he is: a murderous, power-mad psychopath.
The Putin loyalists are silent for some strange reason.
anyone with half a brain knew that Putin was nuts all along and wants all of Ukraine because he is trying to reassemble the old soviet union.
I don’t think Putin is running the country anymore... This has taken on a whole new personality...Which would make Trump right for wondering what is going on.
He was buying time with Trump. He was never serious about the ceasefire.
After all, he was a KGB Agent. Naturally, he was being manipulative.
Russia plays a big role in the end times. They’re not going anywhere. The United States, however, is a different story.
I seriously do not think it is him in control anymore. It would actually explain quite a few recent anomalies... We knew it would happen sooner or later because of his health. Would they tell us if this was the case? I bet not, they would put the blame Putin as long as they can.
We can’t say it’s not possible...
Trump got “briefed” by that lying weasel Kellogg and doesn’t have any real idea what’s going on.
Par for the course...when you hire neocon trash, they feed you garbage.
Putin isn’t going to be around in 5 years do to his own health conditions so he wants his legacy to be reforming the old Soviet Union. Time for Trump to take the natural gas he’s selling to Europe away from Vlady
> that lying weasel Kellogg
I reject that characterization. Trump has repeatedly praised GEN Kellogg as one of the “real Generals” and even attributed it to the General in convincing him to run for President.
>>”Russia plays a big role in the end times. They’re not going anywhere.”
Trump is speaking figuratively. The people of Russia will continue to exist, but not necessarily the current Russian government.
Poor Trump keeps letting his mouth overload his A$$. It is because he just about fully owned by the Deep State Uniparty. He may have thought he could govern, but his MAGA agenda is hostage to Ukraine. If you listen to Trump’s flip flopping on Ukraine and Russia, we might be in second admendment territory and justification for impeachment.
Trump keeps playing both sides. But the world unforunately see’s him as a farce when it comes to Peace Maker between Russia and Ukraine; he is a party to the conflict/the US is in a proxy war with Russia. Russia has had everything to gain and nothing to lose dealing with Trump, but Trump’s legimacy in the lead role of peace negator cannot actually work. You cannot be have a conflict of interest as does the USA/Trump and be see as legimate in wanting peace when you yourself have shipped weapons to Ukraine and make threats.
I love Trump, but he is not grounded on this topic. He is well informed. He is hostage to Uniparty. He is hostage to NATO.
There is a saying in the foreign press about Trump. Who ever last talked to Trump is what comes out of Trump’s mouth next. They say whoever he last spoke always seems to influence him most, until the next person comes along. There may be some truth in this assessment.
Trump just needs to walk away, but he can... NOT.
Trump knows Russia is going to win this war. He has told the EUropeans this. Vance has also told them.
Trump has no control. The Senate is going to force sanctions; Trump’s already lost control of his MAGA agenda. He has been soundly defeated by the Rinos and DNC.
When Trump announces US continued support for Ukraine in the conflict, I think Russia will simply declare war on Ukraine and kill the Kiev leadership. There is no upside. If Trump trys to defeat Russia as did Biden, the Trump Card will be burned and he will be risking similar damage inside the US from Russia. For Russia their defeat triggers the destruction of those who forced it.
Always look at what Trump DOES NOT say and, at least at this point, no sign of interest in starting World War 3, nor any signs of supporting the Neocon “Bone-Crunching Sanctions” that Linda is trying to push.
Bottom line - Trump doesn’t agree with how Putin is fighting the war...but I doubt that bothers Putin or anyone else in Moscow.
Not sure of order but didn’t Ukraine try to shoot down Putin’s helicopter.
Assassination attempt on Putin? Russian official claims helicopter at ‘epicenter’ of drone attack
I’m a big Trump fan, and you’re not.
So stow it, Ethel.
Interesting that you responded to a post aimed at Putin loyalists.
Okay, thanks for that admission. 😂
In the past 24 hours Kellogg has repeatedly lied about the targets of the missile strikes on Kiev...characterizing them as civilian when in fact they were not.
Kellogg needs to be fired, pronto.
