An argument over a food order at a Florida Checkers restaurant ended in shooting and one man dead, deputies said. A Checkers employee allegedly shot and killed a customer during an argument over the customer's food. The Checkers employee was arrested and booked into jail on one count of first-degree premeditated murder.

One story showed a dead food worker strapped to a gurney being carried out.
The story said most people say a race car driver or an astronaut knows the danger of death and has to face it, but in reality far more food service employees are killed or seriously injured each year than both supposed high risk professions.

Personal. When I was 20 I got a job delivering pizzas in Detroit from an independent, family owned place (there were no chains then). The job opened up because the last guy had been held up with a knife to his throat and he couldn’t take the stress after that.
Learn to be polite when everyone is armed.
Both the suspect and the deceased look like Florida’s finest.

In reality there are millions of food service employees where there are a few thousands of race car drivers and hundreds of astronauts so of course far more food service employees are killed or seriously injured each year.
