A Florida woman is facing multiple charges stemming from her alleged attack on a 72-year-old man who was wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat earlier this week.
Laura Garrett, 33, was arrested by the Largo Police Department on Tuesday for battery on a person older than 65, battery on a police officer and obstructing or resisting an officer without violence, according to Pinellas County Jail records.
Garrett admitted she approached the man – who has not been publicly identified – at Northeast Park and Paw Place to ask him about President Donald Trump and why he supports him, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX 13 Tampa Bay.
The two got into an argument at some point during the confrontation before Garrett poured a can she was holding on the victim's head and hit him on the back of his head and shoulder area with it, the arrest report said, though Garrett denied that she hit him with the can.
Police said she jumped a fence and walked away after the attack on the man.
She was later located by police officers, whom she allegedly fought with while they were attempting to arrest her.
The arrest report states that Garrett intentionally dropped to the ground when officers put her in handcuffs and that when an officer tried to escort her to the front of the park, she wrapped both of her legs around him and caused him to fall.

The FCC has always been responsible for holding media outlets to a level of public good via their licenses to broadcast in the public airwaves. If they are spewing psy-ops crap meant to incite the public into thinking or acting in a way that is unethical and irresponsible, then I'm only doing what the federally licensed media is telling me to do!
We may need another version of “Is it them again, Yogi?” for bluehaired “womyn” attacks.
My Trump 2024 tee shirt got me two hugs, and three “fu#$-offs” when I wore it to the grocery store back in 2024. The store manager also opened up a checkout lane just for me to get me out of the store faster.
They’re all psychotic. Assume that from the start.
Blue hair........................
Lol … dropping my kid off at school the other day and another guy pulls up next to me after seeing my Trump 2028 stickers and is like “Hell yeah….Trump 2028”
Here in Florida, before the election there was a lady I saw a couple times at the grocery store wearing the “I’m voting for the convicted felon” t-shirt. Of course, I asked if I could take a picture to send to my deplorable friends and she complied.
Make her,buy two MAGA hats. She has to wear one for a year.
LOL, ANOTHER blue haired freak!
Skanky, dizzy broad. She better be careful, a lot of cranky, old codgers are carrying these days.
“..LOL, ANOTHER blue haired freak!...”
Yep....
Every time I see one of those colored-hair freaks getting close to me, everything goes to a Condition 1, Red Alert, target-rich environment thingy
When libs don’t get their way, their answer is violence.
We are seeing this repeatedly - including the George Floyd riots which the media described as “mostly peaceful.”
Unfortunately, they have been getting away with it.
Hope this unhinged lefty gets hard jail time and a hefty fine - like the J-6ers unfairly did, for instance.
Let’s start grabbing those Kafir’s off of the Gaza Palestine lover’s and see how far THAT get us.
How do you post a pic on this site?

Liberalism is a mental disease. In 20#5 this is fact.
Feral people are easy to spot.
The driver he hit was an elderly woman making a left hand turn.
Might have been her fault.
That said, why was that guy on the road in the first place?
That’s a question that needs answering no matter who was at fault.
And if the guy was speeding...
I hope they throw the book at him.
I was raised conservative and I mean conservative beyond just ideological political values.
One value was don’t bring unnecessary attention to yourself.
If you bring attention to yourself for a kind act or an achievement then that is well and good.
It was expanded into don’t go around telling other folk you or your family’s business and don’t go around concerning yourself with other folk’s business which is to say I have never had a Fakebook account.
In that vein, I have never worn apparel with any messages on them humorous or political, nor put a bumper sticker on my vehicles, nor put up a yard sign for a political candidate.
I did not do these things out of my sense of values.
But we now live in a world where I fear it might be a good idea to not do them out of a sense of safety both for yourself and your property.
A MAGA hat has because a magnet for nutjobs capable of anything.
