Brooklyn NYC is experiencing a growing pattern of gang related crimes which nobody seems to be able to stop...
At frame 1:39 the announcer says "...6 one of the teams goes to pick up one of the pre-indicted suspects wearing tactical gear and carrying special equipment ..."
Special equipment? You see the officer carrying a catch pole (dog snare) and a fire extinguisher. Freepers what was he going to do with those to the gang members?

Thank you very much and God bless you.
IIRC, they seemed to ‘shoot first, ask questions later’ of the perps. Frequently, the perps were unable to answer questions.

First they take away your 2nd Amendment rights and then they fail to provide the law and order they promised if you gave up that right ... go figure
Stop and Frisk was killed by the city council. That practice prevented a lot of crimes.
I was going to ask, why would anyone want to join the New York City police department these days?
Then I remembered a YouTube video I saw awhile back. A guy with a camera was interviewing two young NYPD officers on a sidewalk. Both cops were nice enough.
But they both sounded kinda, well… mentally slow.
I’m not saying this applies to every young NYPD cop. Nevertheless, it really surprised me. Take what you can get, I suppose.
What do they expect to accomplish with a catchpole? Might as well bring a riding crop, to whack that rock house pitbull on the snout.
Give the people what they want.
Jim Cirillo…. Shot something like 20 or 30 armed robbers.
Brooklyn provides residents another chance to avail themselves of Public Education.

This was all done based on corruption from the drug cartels flowing to politicians and law enforcement.
I wonder if there are a lot of Pitbull dogs in Brooklyn? I live in a smaller community in Michigan and at least half of all dogs in the shelters here are Pitbull mixes and almost no one will adopt them.
NYC has a tradition of big dumb Irish cops. BTW my last name is Irish extraction although none of my ancestors were from NYC.
Same here in PA. Pitbulls and pit mixes are packing the shelters. They’re also pretty common in bad neighborhoods. I live in a very good neighborhood but I’m reluctant about going for a jog. Bears, deer, dogs, clowns everywhere.
I'm sure that "catchpole" was for the pit bulls those gangbangers like to keep nearby to protect the narcotics..
free donuts..
Yes, pits and pit mixes, ranging from untrained to badly trained and aggressively trained, pervade low-trust neighborhoods everywhere.
I especially like the lost-dog signs with the picture of the pit and some number and “Do Not Approach” clearly written. They know they have a loose weapon and, if they had anything to their name, should be sued.
