As the base elevation under water rises, the rush of this water rises with it.

Well, that certainly sounds ominous, and puts a time & date stamp right on it.
I guess, with that degree of accuracy, I’ll check back next year, or maybe in 10, to see if there’s an update.

They’re predicting a 1000ft tsunami as supposedly elevated by a (wildly exaggerated) 1.5ft/century sea level rise due to anthropogenic carbon dioxide.

So, without the 1.5 ft sea rise, the tsunami would only be 998.5 feet high.

Well, that's a relief!

I don’t doubt that someday this could happen. Problem is, there’s no way to prepare for it ahead of time, and you won’t know til it’s too late when it’s coming. (I saw this movie; you can’t move millions of people fast enough to get more than a few to higher ground.)
