1,000 foot high?
These people would be more believable if their BS was just a bit more realistic in their predictions.
Tsunami when funneled up bays and sounds can run up to incredible heights. The wave itself is not 1000 feet high as it enters the bay. It’s like water sloshing up the side of a bathtub if you set up a wave in it. A 50 foot tsunami at the head of Puget sound would run up to at least 500 feet above sea level in parts of the upper reaches of that sound as they funnel into valleys.
