Firefighters are responding to a powerful explosion at a building in Palm Springs that rocked the area late Saturday morning—and investigators are not ruling out terrorism.
The blast occurred shortly before 11 a.m. at the American Reproductive Centers on North Indian Canyon Drive, near East Tachevah Drive, and was felt up to two miles away.
'Everything is in question—whether this is an act of terrorism,' Lt. William Hutchinson told The Desert Sun from the scene.
Multiple witnesses reported hearing a loud boom, and dramatic videos shared on social media show the explosion shattered windows of a nearby liquor store.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the explosion was accidental or intentional, but Hutchinson said there appears to be at least one fatality.
Graphic images from the scene seem to show charred human remains.
The mayor, Ron deHarte, said there were still structures on fire in the area.
NBC Palm Springs has described the incident as a 'car explosion,' though officials have yet to confirm the cause or release additional details. Palm Springs Police and Fire are urging residents to avoid the area so emergency crews can manage the scene. Emergency vehicles were still arriving as of noon.
The explosion occurred near—but not on—the grounds of Palm Springs' main hospital, Desert Regional Medical Center, according to a hospital spokesperson.
American Reproductive Centers offers fertility treatments but does not perform abortions.
According to its website, the building houses the Coachella Valley’s first and only full-service fertility clinic and in vitro fertilization lab.
Opened in 2006, the center offers a comprehensive range of fertility services, including IVF, egg donation, genetic testing, egg freezing, fertility evaluations for both men and women, intrauterine insemination, LGBTQ family planning, and surrogacy support.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Chuck Norris can point at any woman, ages 18-90, whisper “Booya”—and she’s 9 months along with bearded triplets.
LGBTQ family planning? That’s more like how to destroy a family.
*PING*

Oh, the Humanity! ;)

Well, some people ARE against that particular kind of medical conception. *SHRUG*
I’ll wait for more info...
They went right to terrorism. And it might wall be. But given that is a medical facilty likely with anesthetic gasses and other compressed gases and poorly trained people that probably turn over quickly...that was one of my top guesses.
I’m currently watching this guy on youtube. The explosion sent body parts into the street.

I’m betting this was ANTIFA
I’ll retract my statement on poorly trained people for right now because this doesn’t sound like a run of the mill abortion mill. There is high turnover in healthcare though. And training...well. We might see.

Jeez it seems like either some confused nut who thought it was an abortion clinic or someone hating Americans that want to have babies. Either way… DESPICABLE.
You can bank on it. If they can blame it on Christians and pro-life groups, they absolutely will.
Wow! That’s horrible! *SHUDDER*

Point well taken. It could have just been a drunk driver or a driver having a medical emergency that went out of control and hit the building. The rest is what you said.
False flag. Guaranteed.
Launch drones and release the hounds!
Palm Springs is a queer mecca now.
That’s the only way they get kids short of adopting.
Of course. Most of the time they bend over backwards to avoid uttering the “T” word, but when it might be an abortion protestor, they bend the other way to find a way to work it in.

Cheer up! Doesn’t say any bottles were lost.

That is enough evidence that this clinic was likely Good Guys with high moral and ethical standards that does not discriminate against gay people.
Effectively a neutral Reproductive Center.
We already know who the Bad Guys are, and we have to wait for investigation.
