From the article:

(or 0 to the power of 78) years.

++++++++++

Yeah, that’s pretty soon!

With this in mind, it’s now expected that the universe will end in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (one quinvigintillion or 0 to the power of 78) years.

While this is still a very long time away, it’s a drastic revision from previous estimate of of 10 to the power of 1,100 years, explains CBS News.

Sure they have. Yes, of course. Because they’ve been so dead-on accurate with all the predictions of destruction from climate change. We’ve lost miles of coastline, there is no polar ice, all the polar bears are dead, island after island has disappeared under the ocean, and we are continually pounded by Cat 5 hurricanes and horrific tornadoes - the likes of which mankind has never seen.

I eagerly await any and all of the predictions of doom from these scientists so that I can immediately take appropriate action.

Should I go ahead and break out the old sandwich board and bell, take off my clothes, put on the board, go to the street corner, ring the bell and yell, “the end is nigh!”?

The Bible, authored by He who created the Heavens and the Earth, gives us an idea of the end of the earth and the universe.

The (visible) time clock will start ticking when Jesus "catches up" the church into Heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:17). Although we do not know the day or the hour of this event (Matthew 24:36), we do or should know the times and the seasons (1 Thessalonians 5:1), and everything points to we are in the times and seasons for Jesus imminent return for his church which I believe will happen before the end of this century.

Whether I'm right, those who are paying attention should know the time for Christ to come for his church is very soon.

So, to use the near the end of the 2000 century century as the beginning point, we know seven years of tribulation will follow. After the seven years, Jesus will return WITH his church to reign for 1000 years as King of Kings upon the earth.

Let's say the seven-year tribulation ends and Jesus' 1000-year reign begins at the year 2100. Then his 1000-year reign would end at the year 2200.

The Bible says that after his 1000-year reign, there will be "a little season" (Revelation 20:3) of chaos. So after 2200 would be a short period of time.

After this "little season"/short period of time of chaos will come

a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Revelation 20:11.

Thus according to the authority of the Bible, the best source of the truth including the truth about the future, the end of the world AND the universe should be around the year 2200.

How do you like them apples?
