A possible meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in mid-May in Saudi Arabia is not on the schedule, US President Donald Trump told journalists.
Asked at a news conference in the White House whether a meeting with Putin was possible later in the month in Saudi Arabia, Trump replied: "I don't think so, but we're having very good conversations. Very, very good," News.Az reports, citing TASS.

Trump has totally screwed the pooch.
The Russians are done with Trump, and by extension JD Vance. Vance is running around saying dumb stuff to Zelinski and others that “we will just do like in Soviet times and just wait Russia out, never recognizing Russian ownership of any lands, and eventually we will take it all back.”
The Russians have drawn attention to Vance’s know comments and they now know the Trump end game.
Russians are also stating that Trump is not in a position to negotiate a cease fire. Trump and the pentagon/NATO are directing the war from Germany and are a party to the conflict.
There is no possibly that there can ever be an agreement, unless Russia and the US directly negotiate without the EU/Ukraine involved. This is a war where the US commanding all the forces, paying ukrainian salaries, and supplying all the equipment and targeting data from Sat’s.
Trump had his moment, but he never tried to acknowledge Russian demands. Trump cannot apease the Russians and keep the Bandara Government running Ukraine. This goes back to Coup the US formented in Ukraine.
Trump can either walk away or he is going to have to understand he is the Commander in Chief of the forces hostle to Russia directing the conflict.
That’s “President” Trump and “Vice-President” Vance and they will end Putin’s invasion of Ukraine very soon.
