It’s not just young females who have been radicalized. In my region the Indivisibles- primarily senior citizen women - have gone off the deep end with senseless protests and disruptions in city council meeting and forums.
The female left’s nurture instinct is pretty much atrophied.
Essentially they are an assembly of Hecates.
They have been socialized and indoctrinated to hate.
Their only hope is to become a practicing CHRISTIAN, OR BUDDHIST....NOT A MUSLIM.
Much of this damage can be attributed to someone seeing the destruction of their god. Having lost their faith in the actual God of the Universe, these victims fixated on the offered new god, Government. Now, watching Trump and Musk expose the manifold faults and evils of government, they are left with no god whatsoever which is a real feeling of desolation and betrayal in this increasingly evil world. I think this is a core reason why they hate Musk as much as Trump.
I’m not hopeful of a turnaround until they again come to God and humble themselves which is hardly likely with the chorus of harpies screaming in their ears that truth is relative and feelings are paramount.

I hope that does not make me an angry white woman because I don’t think I am a woman. But I am not a biologist so how could I possibly know.

That is a definitional characteristic of Critical Theory, codified by Max Horkheimer in the late 60's and whose two most prevalent offshoots are Critical Law and Critical Race theories; the last two not only informing the ideology of the Left but permeating it. "Social justice" consists of reversing the roles of oppressor and oppressed; eliminating the oppression altogether through a just society is impossible by definition. That's actually a pretty bleak social model but it appeals to the emotions of envy and resentment perfectly and its most satisfying expression is cathartic rage. That rage also happens to be emotionally corrosive as the author's statistics demonstrate.
It can be extremely difficult to reason its believers out of their convictions. One of its later acolytes named Althusser proclaimed that one must believe CT in order to understand it, a phrase he borrowed from St. Anselm that inadvertently reveals that it is more on the order of a religious conviction than a logical system. We sometimes speak of True Believers on the Left, which is literally the case. Don't hope to sway them by pointing out their logical inconsistencies. Quite a few of us have tried.
