Florida Man in Yellowstone, First goring of the season!..............We’re #1!!!....................
Florida Man Ping!....................
‘Lookie! It’s like a big gator but with legs and fur’..
Sounds like he wasn’t gored enough!
At Jasper, where the animals are very used to the people, I’ve seen people get a carlengths from them to get a good picture.
“Stupid is supposed to hurt.”

Wow Florida man goes all the way to Wyoming and still can’t catch a break
Florida Man, and it isn’t even Florida!
We’re taking Florida Man on the road!
Tourists sometimes try to get closer to bison in Yellowstone for the sake of better pictures.
Back in 2010, my nephew had a job at Yellowstone. He was on a special team that transported wounded or deceased tourists from inaccessible back country areas. They had lots of business, although most of the really stupid injuries took place in vehicle-accessible areas. Carrying an injured hiker on a stretcher down narrow mountain trails was a lot of work.
What percentage of stupid deaths are caused by trying to get a selfie?
All the videos of people handling dangerous wild animals stressing how human and grateful these animals are makes them all seem like just furry or scaled humans. Even little animals can cause a life-threatening infection. Bigger animals can ruin your life faster than you can react.
People are too far from the farm or danger in any form. That makes people stupid beyond belief.
Every year.
Scare stories.
Bison are tame and nice animals.
You can approach them and tell them to SIT.
Then give them a belly rub
The bison and Gore are teaming up to take out Florida Man in order to make a statement about globull warming?
We had a neighbor who had a “pet bison”- had it for years- then one day for no apparent reason, the bison gored him in the gut- he survived for awhile, but got an infection later in the wound and died from it.
I used to caretake on a small bison ranch- there were 15 bison- there is no way you can tame those things! And they can move with astonishing speed! Had a few close calls. Learned 5o stay very near the fence if we had to go in to the pens for any reason.
I see a video on YouTube where a fella is raising them and takes his kid along to feed them- he is flirting with tragedy. You might get the odd animal every now and again that acts friendlier than the others, but I still would not trust them! They are too big, too powerful, and too fast to deal with if mistaken about the steady reliability of their personality
DARWIN!!! /s
Bigger warning signs won’t do anything but impede the area needed to egress from the pissed-off bison.
These people are stupid. Many of them think Yellowstone is some kind of wild-animal park, not a good one since there are no cups with treats handed out by coin machines.
You can’t fix stupid - but you sure can film the result and make bets on how high they’ll get tossed.
