Qatar: Our Enemy Hiding in Plain Sight
American Thinker ^ | 9 May, 2025 | Susan Quinn

Qatar has been a threat to our national security since at least 1986. Their inroads into the U.S. have been subtle and persistent, which doesn’t make them any less dangerous, and the penetration is primarily into our education system:

Foreign donors have given as much to U.S. universities in the last four years as they did in the previous 40, according to a new report by the Network Contagion Research Institute shared exclusively with The Free Press. The study shows an explosion in overseas funding for American schools between 2021 and 2024, with nearly $29 billion in foreign money donated during that period.

Qatar and China are among the largest sources of funding.

Of all the universities that receive donations, Harvard has received the most funding, totaling $3.2 billion.

For the last two years following the October 7 attack on Israel, Qatar mediated the ceasefire negotiations between Hamas and Israel. The reason that Israel allowed them to participate is a mystery, since Qatar has been closely linked to Hamas for years, as well as to the Muslim Brotherhood. They were happy to provide refuge and luxurious accommodations to Hamas leaders while the negotiations were ongoing.

Qatar also provided funding for U.S. universities that chose to place campuses in Doha:

In some cases, Qatari donations to U.S. schools have been used to build campuses in Doha. The Qatari capital is home to ‘Education City,’ which hosts an outpost of Northwestern’s journalism school and Georgetown’s foreign policy school, each of which has received hundreds of millions from the wealthy Gulf state. Cornell, which built a medical school campus in Doha, has received $2.1 billion from Qatar.

Through “Education City,” Qatar can extensively influence these universities, and Qatar’s motives in providing funding in this country are not benevolent. They aim to transform

I was wondering: sheikah Al-Mayassa, spends most of her time in the USA. Our secret service protects her. Does Qatar pay for our secret service?

DC mayor Bowser withheld info that Qatar paid $61K+ for a trip to Doha for her & staff
by Scott TaylorMon, April 14th 2025 at 2:17 PM

WASHINGTON (7News) — Who is paying for D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s trips around the world? The 7News I-Team has been asking that question for months and has gotten different answers from the mayor’s office. Through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, the 7News I-Team has uncovered who paid for the mayor’s trip to Doha in 2023, and it ended up costing a foreign country $61,930 in travel expenses, but the District has no record of how the expenses broke down for the mayor or four staff members.

7News I-Team Investigative Reporter discovered the truth behind the trip to Dubai. A letter from the Embassy of Qatar to the Executive Office of the Mayor says Qatar paid $61,930 for the entire trip and called it an in-kind donation.

D.C. has no record of a Donation Agreement between the District and Qatar for the trip -— which is required by D.C. Code. D.C. has told 7News it also doesn’t have any travel expense records filed by the mayor for trips to The Master’s Golf Tournament, Las Vegas, Miami or Mar-a-Lago. All trips taken within the past three years.

In December 2023, Mayor Bowser and four staff members, including her Chief of Staff, Lindsey Parker, took a trip to Doha, Qatar. The mayor attended the United Nations Climate Conference in Dubai. Only two travel expense records have been filed. Parker appears to be doing what’s required by the D.C. Code, but it’s not cheap. She cost taxpayers $3,500 for a 3-night stay at the Atlantis-Palm hotel in Dubai. A two-night stay at the Aloft Hotel in Dubai for $1,300 was also filed by Tomas Talamonte, D.C.’s Director of Intergovernmental Affairs.

Last year, Susana Castillo, the mayor’s Director of Communications, gave 7News wrong information twice on who paid for the Dubai trip. She claimed that D.C.’s Chamber of Commerce paid for it. We learned that was false, and then she said the U.S. Conference of Mayors picked up the bill.

7News now knows that both statements were not true. Parker also flew last May to Las Vegas to attend the International Council of Shopping Centers Convention, along with Bowser. Parker flew first class and cost taxpayers $4,500. She stayed at the Wynn Hotel and Casino for three nights, costing taxpayers $1,500.

What about Mayor Bowser? She has filed no travel expense records for her Vegas trip, saying it was paid by the Washington, D.C. Economic Partnership and two D.C. government departments.

Mark Levin did a piece on this last night. The “clubs” and there are 100s at universities across the USA, that support Hamas/Marxist programs make no bones about it - they want Israel and America to cease to exist and capitalism to be destroyed. They announce it daily.

“Qatar has been a threat to our national security since at least 1986.” In reality, Qatar has been a threat to the West since its ruling al-Thani family provided a home to the outlawed Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood in the early 1970s. It later for decaades provided a home to Qaradawi, the Brotherhood ideologue. In fact, the al-Thani are quite smart. They have romanced our Pentagon, the Clintons, the Democrat Party, Brookings and NGOs and countless American politicians. Most recently they have spent money suborning American universities, and Uncle Sugar has just gone along to get along. It now looks like Orange Man is prpared to play their game.

Hows about we deal with the very clear and very present danger our Deep State poses first, then worry about Qatar...

The problem is that Qatar and the Deep State are deeply intertwined—like a horse and carriage.

....is our military still involved with the huge Al-Udeid Air Base over there...? our Air Force outfit was sent there in the early 2000s and it was huge...the Qataries hate America but they love the millions if not billions of dollars we pour into that country every year...and, yes, the proper pronunciation of that country is “cutter” so we were told before we got there....

Biden crime family 2017 Deal with Qatar Undermined Trump
See Letter on Hunter Biden’s infamous Laptop
Breitbart ^ | 7 Oct 2022 | EMMA-JO MORRIS
Posted on 10/7/2022, 8:52:47 PM by E. Pluribus Unum

A letter on Hunter Biden’s infamous abandoned laptop shows the Biden family pursuing a deal with Qatar, undermining the Trump Administration and appearing like an effort at a shadow foreign policy.

The letter — retrieved from the “Laptop from Hell” by Congressman Darrell Issa’s (R-CA) office after being in a previously unreadable format — shows James Biden, President Biden’s brother, making an overture to an associate of Qatari Sheikh Abdulla Bin Mohammed Al Thani.

They say, “my family could provide a wealth of introductions and business opportunities at the highest levels,” despite unfavorable policies of the “fractured” and “beleaguered” then-Trump administration for Qatar.

The letter, dated August 1, 2017, to be relayed to the Sheikh, criticizes the Trump administration as having a “fractured nature” and as being “beleaguered by major issues that are not soon to be resolved” — offering to help in “effectuating the vision” of the Sheikh.

“I would be honored to assist in effectuating the vision of His Excellency but would be remiss in not pointing out the fractured nature of our current administration,” the missive begins.

“This administration is beleaguered by major issues that are not soon to be resolved,” Biden’s brother says of the Trump White House.

Through his family’s “deep and wide” relationships, which he boasts have “lasted through many years and many administrations,” Biden proposes partnership for a “different vision” than the Trump government’s of American interest and U.S.-Qatari relations.
