Israel’s government has approved a plan to seize all of the Gaza Strip and hold control over the territory for an unspecified length of time, officials have revealed.
Government officials said the newly approved offensive plan would move Gaza’s civilian population southward and keep humanitarian aid from falling into the hands of the terrorist group Hamas.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet ministers unanimously approved plans for the new offensive on Monday morning.
It came just hours after it was announced that tens of thousands of reserve soldiers are being called up.
The plan reportedly provides for the “conquering of Gaza” and retaining the territory.

Deport the people living in “Palestine” to Gaza and make it a protectorate of Israel.
They should never have left in 2005, but the factors Israel cited for that withdraw still exist (The cost of fighting Hamas, and the Pali birth bomb). Unless they have a better plan this time, de-populating Gaza may be the better option.

Muslims and Christians and everyone else have the right to vote in Israeli elections. An occupied territory formerly controlled by a terrorist group might not qualify as Israeli lands for the purpose of voting, but it is an interesting question. Given that the population voted 84% for a terrorist gang to represent them, personally, I'd advise the Israelis against being THAT kind and generous to the most evil population on the face of the planet. *shrug*

I think Israel has finally amassed enough evidence to show the world that “land for peace” is stupid. I think they are finally abandoning it - for good.
Correct me if I am wrong on my history. Didn’t Israel conquer Gaza before?
I say if you conquer it, annex it, make it Israel. Put Gaza under Israel. Then what? Pressure the remaining Arab Muslims to leave. Shut down their mosques. Patrol the streets with dogs. I guess Jews can’t offer BLTs and pork barbecue sandwiches at every street corner. Their loss. Maybe they can buy bullets coated in pork fat.
