The Volonaut Airbike
****************************************************
+VIDEO Just coming out of ‘stealth’ mode is the Volonaut Airbike, a flying machine madder than the maddest box of frogs but somehow hugely appealing.
The Volonaut is the creation of Polish inventor and entrepreneur Tomasz Patan, who is the man behind the equally left-field Jetson One.
VIDEO AT LINK:
Thrilled to share a sample of what I have been working on in "stealth" mode.
Stay tuned for the official launch video soon.@Volonaut #airbike pic.twitter.com/Ie5KKAehCT— Tomasz Patan (@TomaszPatan) April 26, 2025
Tomasz calls the Volonaut a ‘superbike for the skies’. It’s powered by jet propulsion and is designed to carry one person with speeds up to 200km/h or 124mph.
“The Airbike has a proprietary stabilisation system enhanced by a flight computer which provides automatic hover and ease of control for its rider,” said Tomasz.
“The unique riding position with unobstructed 360 degree view helps the rider to quickly become one with the flying machine and provides the sensation of complete freedom.
Official Launch Video:
“Thanks to Airbike’s extremely compact size and no spinning propellers it can travel through most confined areas with ease.”
Not many specs have been released so far apart from the Airbike is 7 times lighter than a typical motorcycle thanks to use of advanced carbon fibre materials, 3d printing and minimalistic approach.
I would suggest the rider climb to above 600 feet minimal very quickly, 1600 feet would be better. The altitudes are necessary to bail out successfully. That machine has no wings, no rotor and no hope for engine failure. It becomes a rock acceleratting to earth at 32 feet per second squared. If the ground was soft it would have already dug your grave. I would refuse to fly that machine.
Oddly the photo shows distortion of the trees in the back ground due to the hot turbine gases below the craft and the background on each side not blurred which is to be expected. However, I lean to AI sophisticated fake for several reasons.
1. The pilot was not wearing a parachute and an engine failure is certain death.
Their was no information about all the specs of the machine. I want to know thrust, hours of fuel on board, total lift capacity at gross weight and how in the hell it even got in the air without an experimental license from the local nation civil aviation authority.
2. Who manufactured it and where.
It is a flying machine and oddly many nations will grant experimental licenses to companies as they are basically just exploring new designs and concepts. Once they try to sell it the rules change dramatically. They must then demonstrate in capability and safety in detail.
I do not believe the video.
Neither do I.
I filled in the form at their website to ask questions , same exact ones you mentioned.................no answer yet........
The Volonaut Airbike is real, not AI-generated or fake. It’s a functional prototype developed by Volonaut, a company led by Polish inventor Tomasz Patan, who also co-founded Jetson Aero and created the Jetson One eVTOL. Multiple sources, including test flight videos released in April 2025, show the Airbike flying over forests and deserts, demonstrating vertical takeoff, hover, and maneuverability. Patan confirmed to Robb Report that the footage is authentic, filmed with high-quality cameras and FPV drones, with no AI trickery.
The Airbike uses jet propulsion (likely ducted fans or turbines), a proprietary stabilization system, and lightweight carbon fiber construction, making it seven times lighter than a typical motorcycle. It’s designed for one rider, with speeds up to 200 km/h (124 mph). While still in the prototype stage and not yet commercially available, test flights have been ongoing since at least 2024, with a successful flight in May 2023.
Skepticism on platforms like Reddit has raised concerns about the lack of visible propulsion mechanisms, stabilization details, or fuel capacity, with some suspecting CGI or tethered tests. However, no evidence supports claims of it being AI-generated or fake, and the project aligns with Patan’s prior work in eVTOL technology. Official videos, trademark filings, and news coverage from outlets like Supercar Blondie and Yanko Design further validate its existence.
It’s a real, innovative project, but practical challenges like noise, safety, and range remain unclear, and no timeline or price for market release has been specified.

Thank You for that confirmation!.................Now I reallllllyy WANT ONE!!!...................
Yep!................
You’re welcome. I should have included the source of the answer, which is GROK / AI.
This post smells like a fed lot!
