Mel brooks, Dom DeLuise, and Marty Feldman witness Bernadette Peters' nightclub act...
Ba ba - Loooo... Scene from Silent Movie (1976, Mel Brooks)
Silent Movie was co-written, directed by and starring Mel Brooks, released by 20th Century Fox in the summer of 1976. The ensemble cast includes Dom DeLuise, Marty Feldman, Bernadette Peters, and Sid Caesar, with cameos by Anne Bancroft, Liza Minnelli, Burt Reynolds, James Caan, Marcel Marceau, and Paul Newman as themselves, and character cameos by Harry Ritz of the Ritz Brothers, Charlie Callas, and Henny Youngman.
The film was produced in the manner of an early-20th-century silent film, with intertitles instead of spoken dialogue; the soundtrack consists almost entirely of orchestral accompaniment and sound effects. It is an affectionate parody of slapstick comedies, including those of Charlie Chaplin, Mack Sennett, and Buster Keaton. The film satirizes the film industry, presenting the story of a film producer trying to obtain studio support to make a silent film in the 1970s.

LOL...what a scene, especially the ending with Bernadette going “BOOM!”
And the frog going bumpity-bump!
Thanks
:)
That’s hilarious. I don’t believe I have seen it.
Mel Brooks made some great, funny and quirky classic movies in his career. Mel was one of a kind.
Mel is not a was yet; he is still an is.
Silent Movie is a classic. Dom DeLuise, Sid Caesar, Marty Feldman…
I loved it … the only speaking part belonged to the mime (!), Marcel Marceau. CBNS
Funny as all get-out. Under-rated and my 2nd favorite Mel Brooks (after High Anxiety).
And Marcel Marceau had the only speaking part.
Yeah, that was hilarious!
