It's a tragedy, but it was so utterly preventable.

"It's a tragedy, but it was so utterly preventable."

Out on bond & awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to a prior murder, Austin Collette fatally shot & killed his 21-year-old girlfriend.

Judge Hilary Unger authorized Austin Collette's release on bond. Despicable.

Will the Judge now claim her decision saved the government money related to cost of court and incarceration? Why are decisions like this allowed and Judges not impeached for such stupidity?

These judges need to have their addresses and phone numbers posted online.

“Out on bond & awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to a prior murder”

This should never happen!

There needs to be some serious punishment for judges that show such poor judgements.

At a minimum they should be removed ASAP.

It’s becoming too common.
This has to be a deliberate plan to destabilize society.

Judge Hilary Unger is an accessory before the fact in this murder but no officer of the court will file charges against a another member of the big club that George Carlin told US that we don’t belong to.

The black female judge in Frisco, TX lowered Karmelo Anthony’s bail this week, too. All hail the judge who put him back out on the street despite him being suspended at least twice from school for fighting, bringing a knife to school and assaulting someone a few weeks ago. Ah, but, but, the school never reported him to the cops so he has a clean history. No need to look but he’s the 17 year old who skipped school one day a couple weeks ago, intentionally packed a different knife in his backpack, went to a different school’s jv track meet, intentionally sat under a school’s tent they’d put up to keep thieves from stealing the teams’ stuff. When Austin Metcalf a varsity track star, a total stranger to Karmelo, who was volunteering told him to leave the tent, Karmelo stabbed him to death. Karmelo admitted to the murder but a certain group put out lies about Metcalf, are saying whitey got what he deserved, posted a fake autopsy and started a go fund me which raised $600k so “victim” Karmelo, Prince of light and all that is great and glorious (oh, sorry, I said that out loud), could move from a nice home in a gated community into a nicer home in a gated community and buy a new van while the you know who are staging protests for “innocent” Karmelo. Strange that step mom rants that it is the crackers who a causing the 12 sister not to sleep at night. Naw, can’t be because an admitted murderer is down the hall.

Yes, Judges are the most at fault when a criminal is released on bond and then commits another crime.

However, some of the blame needs to be on the Prosecuting Attorneys who make agreements with the Defense Attorneys for no or low bonds.

I have watched the youtube videos of Judge John Stevens at Beaumont, Texas who regularly admonishes the prosecuting and defense attorneys for proposing low bonds. Judge Stevens stands upon against the squishy lawyers and usually says: “Not on my watch”.

Yes, they can if their actions do not fall under qualified immunity.
