In 1941, Lieutenant Raymond Edmund Grimani Cox survived the sinking of the SS Britania on a raft. He stated that a giant squid attacked the raft taking one of the men, and he fought it off. A marine naturalist, John Cloudsley-Thompson, examined Cox’s scars at Birkbeck College in 1956, and validated the story. Don’t get too close to these giants.

It is difficult to serious consider the thoughts of a man who is humbled that squids do not know humans exist. I hope he was embarrassed when he read his quoted words in print. LOL
