10 years sober this year. Best decision I ever made. There’s a very long and fabled social history of alcohol, but I fear we’ve reached an inflection point where the physical toll it takes outweighs the social lubrication that used to drive humanity through the darkest days.

I know so many people who hit 40 and gave up drinking. They ALL lost weight and felt better. It doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy a glass of wine…it means you don’t have to drink the entire bottle.
