The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by tech billionaire Elon Musk, has revealed that California, New York, and Massachusetts are responsible for the majority of fraudulent unemployment claims in the United States, amounting to a staggering $305 million.
In a statement posted Thursday via X, DOGE disclosed that the bulk of these improper claims date back to 2000, with California alone accounting for 68% of unemployment benefits disbursed to parolees on terrorist watchlists or those with serious criminal records.
“California, New York, and Massachusetts accounted for most of these improper claims, totaling $305M,” DOGE stated. “California also accounted for 68% of benefits paid to high-risk parolees identified by CBP.”

You don't expect to get US news from the US press, do you?
“From the Herald Nigeria!?”

I went to school with Harold Nigeria!
Sad that we can’t get the MSM to cover such things. The GOP needs to get this to the public NOW!
Says it was posted on X. Should be able to be verified.
Yes, I know. I found the original piece on MSN, but if I recall correctly FR doesn’t allow stories from them. So I did a search using that headline and this is the first entry, maybe the only one, I found. The content of the story, not the source, is what is important.
Verified how?
California
New York
Massachusetts.

Lock’em Up and see MSM Howl
I can’t find this on any DOGE site or X.
I suggest to give people 30 days to report having received government benefits fraudulently. When investigated, set up a payment plan. Failure to make the report will result in prosecution, and cessation of all public benefits for a determined time.
I tend to agree....if a guy/gal agreed on the payment plan...proceed. But the majority, I fear....will say they have a $1k monthly credit card bill already, and owe $15k on car payments. More than half will present that problem.
In that case...other than seizing their car or house....there’s not of a solution.
