I suggest to give people 30 days to report having received government benefits fraudulently. When investigated, set up a payment plan. Failure to make the report will result in prosecution, and cessation of all public benefits for a determined time.

I tend to agree....if a guy/gal agreed on the payment plan...proceed. But the majority, I fear....will say they have a $1k monthly credit card bill already, and owe $15k on car payments. More than half will present that problem.

In that case...other than seizing their car or house....there’s not of a solution.
