John Mellencamp is preparing for a heartbreaking outcome.
Teddi Mellencamp revealed that her famous father has already started planning her burial amid her stage 4 cancer battle.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 43, said on Tuesday’s episode of her “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast that the 73-year-old rock star called her “11 times in a row” to discuss a morbid matter.
“Finally, I answer, I’m like, ‘I’m in the bath. Let me live a little.’ He goes, ‘I just want to make sure you’re going to be in our group family mausoleum,’ ” Teddi explained.
“He’s like, ‘Well, there’s going to be the top five and then we’re gonna have little areas around it, and then that’s where everyone’s going to get buried,’ ” Teddi shared.
After Teddi asked John if she needed to make that decision now, she said the “Hurts So Good” singer told her, “You’re doing your will right now, so you may as well put it in there.”

Sure I get that, but I doubt discussed it with him incessantly.
Of course plans have to be made but is it too much to ask for a little decorum?

I heard of a guy who had a pretty uncommon last name. There just happened to be an enormous 20 foot tall obelisk headstone in the local cemetery that had one word on it….his last name. The person buried there was no relation to the guy as he was a recent transplant into the town from 2 states away.
He hacked the system by being cremated and having his ashes spread around the base of the obelisk. A permanent and enormous monument to himself that someone generations ago paid for and built.

Again, not endorsing his politics or his personality, but if I based my music listening solely on those factors it would get kind of boring listening only to Lee Greenwood, Ted Nugent or Kid Rock.
I look at making prior arrangements as akin to getting your finances in order.
We knew what was inevitably coming and I intensely discussed this with my husband b/c his family was firmly opposed to cremation on religious grounds and I knew there was going to be a s*** storm when the time came (there was).
It gave him peace of mind to know this had been taken care of, mostly for my own sanity during an intense time of high emotion and insanity. Anyone who has dealt with end of life care knows this.
But you don’t browbeat someone dying of terminal cancer who is having a hard time dealing with it just to avoid being in a lurch. Acceptance will eventually arrive and things will work out.
Melloncamp is a wack leftist who injects his politics into his performances. Saw him about 8 years ago planning to enjoy the old songs. Instead he lectured about how Trump 45 was effing up the world.
I hope he is apoplectic about Trump 47.

Give the guy a break. It’s his daughter. He’s probably beside himself and needs to feel like he’s doing something for her. Nobody wants to talk about it, but is a conversation that needs to be had. God bless them both.

My wife lost her mother and brother in the span of 11 months and neither had a will.....I’m pretty familiar with what you’re saying.
Tell it to the daughter.....she’s the one complaining that he’s badgering her.
I lost my husband and mother in the span of 12 months.
Will be forever grateful that I had made arrangements for both before they died.
I believe it is never too early to take care of this.
So she may have killed more people than herself.
