I look forward to the serious scientific discussion I'm sure that will follow.

Gosh; I'm going to have to rearrange my entire understanding of reality...

Interesting about the rotating poles inside Uranus...Is anyone else uncomfortable about that?

That’s why you should get up and walk around every now and then.

Just how long is a day on Uranus?
To: 9YearLurker
Time passes slower when you are on Uranus.

Does this coincide with the release of planetary gasses such as methane and hydrogen disulfide?

It’s due to Trump’s tariffs. Very serious indeed.

Quite sure I’m not on Uranus!

observations made by Hubble Space Telescope. PLEASE, let's do the Hubble Space Telescope upgrade and repair. Musk has already stated he would donate the rocket and launch.
Most urgent are the gyroscopes. Hubble needs three functional gyros for the best targeting / alignment. Hubble had 6, so if one failed, another could be used. It is now down to only two gyros.
If you watch the previous repair / upgrade missions, they designed Hubble so that large, rectangular modules hold the hardware. In the previous missions, they opened the side doors, pulled out the current module, and replaced them with the upgrades.
Yes, yes, that is not all they did, or have to do. If nothing else, just launch and attach new gyros to the outside of Hubble, until a longer term mission can occur. While the Webb Space Telescope is expanding our knowledge, it is not in the visual spectrum. Someday, something will replace Hubble. Until then, Get R Done!

Depends on if Uranus is defended by Klingons.

The rings of Klingons surrounding Uranus must be thoroughly wiped out before we can safely be sure of the length of the day.
To: rdl6989
Longer days are good, but it’s way better that Uranus is full of giant diamonds. I don’t think anything will top that.

calculated based on a decade's worth of observations of Uranus's aurorae The guy that spent decades studying the gaseous emissions of Uranus deserves a raise.
