The father of a teen who was stabbed to death at a high school track meet has shared harrowing details of how his son looked right after he died.
Jeff Metcalf rushed over to the David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco after his son Austin, 17, was stabbed in the heart by a student from a different school, Karmelo Anthony, 17.
He found his dying son in a gurney and saw a hole in his chest, with blood coating the teen's skin, the grieving father told The Dallas Morning News.
Jeff said he knew his son was not breathing at that point, and he kissed his cold forehead and ran his fingers through his hair.
Metcalf's twin brother Hunter was by his side and held him in his arms as he died.
'We were one person,” Hunter told local outlet. 'We did everything together, everything the same. We connected so well.'
An arrest report says a confrontation between the two star football players began when Metcalf told Anthony he was sitting under another team's pop-up tent and told him to move, as reported by NBC DFW.
'I'm not alleged. I did it,' Anthony, who is also a high school football star, reportedly told cops as he was taken into custody.
The two students from different high schools began fighting before Anthony unzipped his bag and reached in, telling Metcalf: 'Touch me and see what happens.'
The report says Metcalf then 'grabbed Anthony to tell him to move and Anthony pulled out ... a black knife and stabbed Austin once in the chest.'

The victim’s father forgave the killer, because he felt not doing so would weigh heavily upon him.
Hunter the surviving twin was interviewed with his Mom on Fox news. He says that when he and his brother came back to their seating area this Karmelo character started mouthing off and being aggressive to him right off the bat. He kept escalating until Austin stepped in and told him to leave because he wasn’t supposed to be there and Austin grabbed Karmello’s backpack and that’s when he pulled out the knife, stabbed Austin and took off.
No. To a sport event that didnt call for knives or weapons.
Seems Anthony was set to go off before Austin said anything at all.
Where did you get this "had to flex" claim from? I just earlier read a claim that the stabber had been told to leave by the Metcalf boy's mother, and he got nasty with her. This is when the boy came over to tell the guy he had to leave.
So "had to flex" or taking up for his mother? Which is true?

Yeah, whatever. It was raining and he was under the wrong tent. The jockstrap that got stabbed went up and demanded he move to his own tent. Then he put hands on him to move him, out into the rain.
Then the other idiot stabbed him over it.
The stabbee should have minded his own business. But it’s more fun to be the enforcer. A little humanity on either side would have stopped this.
Main glaring wrong is Anthony had a weapon/knife at a school event that wasnt needed for the sport event. Should not have had it on property. Definitely should never have used it as he did.
And this may sound cold, but I find it very off-putting to see this family running around doing national and international media interviews when the son has been deceased for a day. Do normal people do this sort of thing?
This time, maybe, Anthony was looking for a reason to use a weapon he carried in his bag on property where there should be no weapons.
If Anthony had not illegally been carrying a weapon then for sure this wouldnt have happened.

People like to blame LBJ for this, but the real fault lies with Liberal Republicans who created the conditions that LBJ took advantage of.
*LIBERAL* Republicans were upset that they didn't have power, so they cooked up the 24th amendment to get *NON TAXPAYERS* to vote. (Meaning Blacks.) They wanted to create a newly enfranchised voting class of about 10 million votes to help them win national elections.
They sold the 24th amendment as an anti-racism amendment, but the reality of it was it gave the right to vote to people who DID NOT PAY TAXES.
People who don't have to pay taxes, will *ALWAYS* vote for the person who promises them the most stuff. LBJ recognized this, and started his "War on Poverty" vote buying scam. *HE* took those 10 million new voters away from the *LIBERAL* Republicans who created them.
And yes, the 24th amendment was spearheaded, promoted, and eventually ratified thanks to the efforts of *LIBERAL* Republicans.
And LBJ made it back fire on them.
If it hadn't been him, it would have been someone else. The 24th amendment creates the perverse incentive to bribe voters in exchange for their votes, so it builds instability into the governing system.
But the Liberal Republicans were the ones who started us down this road to financial destruction.

Calm down with the yelling. No I am not trashing him. But the article said that he, all on his own, decided to go enforce the tent. It’s raining and the killer obviously didn’t want to cross over while it was raining. Then he grabbed the guy when he refused. The victim was a dick, and he ran into a complete A-hole.
No reason in the world he couldn’t have walked up and asked what event he was in and talked about how the rain kinda sucked. And no reason that idiot had to pull a knife either. He coulda politely asked if he could chill there until the rain slacked.

It’s as weird as that Sandy Hook dad laughing at the press conference the same day. Alex Jones saw it and thought the guy was a crisis actor. Turned out he did lose a kid and still had the capacity to joke around that afternoon.

Texas has location restrictions for knives over 5.5 inches. If under that a minor can carry a knife anywhere
