Roger Daltrey of the rock band The Who has revealed that he is slowly going deaf and blind after turning 81 on March 1.

But he sure plays a mean pinball.
He’s turning into Tommy all right. Plays by sense of smell . . .

He hoped he died before he got old.

Evidently he is playing by intuition now.

He was talking about his generation.

Several years behind him and I too am going deaf.. Not blind at all thank God. Going deaf is a PITA, being blind would be a disaster.

I completely understand why he is going deaf, decades of rock and roll will do that. But the article did not say why he is going blind? Macular degeneration? Diabetes?

The exodus is here
The happy ones are near —
let’s get together, before we get much older
Old age wasteland,

THEY’RE ALL WASTED!

Memory. The chronologic memory of all those touring/ recording years, plus the Muscle memory of those moments where emphasis and intonation are expected. He’s telling the familiar story and acting it out.
