I never demanded any safe space. I am also neither a hippie nor technically a boomer.

That said, redneck is an agitator, who consistently and unsolicited attacks other with personal insults. I have avoided contacting him for years because he is a childish stalker who like to have the last word and plays like he has the right to insult others for expressing an opinion in public.

This is against the forum rules, and it is just plain rude behavior. he is free to display his immaturity all he wants. I just wont be a party to it.

Exactly like he original grain deal. We were supposed to let the Russian agricultural bank have access to SWIFT again and have their sanctions lifted. We reneged on that and it fell apart after they gave us a year to do it.

When Pedo Joe wasn't diddling little girls in the shower, filling his adult diaper, autopen-ing state documents or eating ice cream, he was lying to the Russians and to Putin.

How characteristic of Zelensky to do something like this.

.

Ukraine, Russia trade accusations in wake of US-brokered deal

"For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defence said Ukraine carried out a drone attack on a gas storage facility on the Crimean Peninsula and a power installation in the Bryansk region, which sits on the border with Ukraine and its Sumy region.

“The Kyiv regime, while continuing to damage Russia’s civilian energy infrastructure, is actually doing everything it can to disrupt the Russian-American agreements,” it wrote.

Interesting how they failed to mention the immediate resumption of attacks, by Ukraine on Russia energy infrastructure. But of course they did.

Ports are not the Black Sea.

The Black Sea is where Ukraine destroyed the Russian navy and caused it ti retreat from Crimea across the bay where it was still destroyed. The ships in port are subject to the ceasefire but the port is not

Ok, let’s try this way.

Please provide a credible source that states there is a 4:1 casualty ratio to Ukraine’s advantage?

Any source I cite you will say is not credible, whether its a US assessment or otherwise. And all sources will have some error. As I said, early on the russians were throwing troops away. Now they are brute force slogging it out and have numbers and logistics in their favor. Early on it was a higher ratio than today.

Arent you bored yet?

No.

A military is very much interested in an enemies and their own force composition and disposition. They devote resources to knowing things like casualties and keep track of that both for oneself and the enemy.

A DOD and for planning purposes relevant information will be about as “accurate” as you’re going to get. And that NEVER had the Ukraine with a 4:1 kill ratio, even at the worst time for the Russians, and best time for the Ukraine. It was more like 2:1.

Since then, the macro trends are that this kill ratio has only narrowed. 1. The Russians are better organized and have modified their tactics. 2. Our “wonder weapons” have lost some of their punch. 3. The Ukraine lost a lot of folks in their 2023 counter offensive.

Casualties, greatly inflated regards the Russians and generally not even reported on for Ukraine, are one of those topics where we try to create the illusion of winning and hope.

The Ukraine might be a fraction of Russia's might but all of the EU and America are not. Russia fought and won a war against 850 million people (EUSSR and USA). Not too shabby.

Russia can rely beat a second-world country 1/10th their size, who was armed with a hodgepodge of surplus obsolete equipment, and Russia is only winning because they have a big manpower advantage, nothing to do with equipment. If even a part of the EU, or especially these US, got involved, Russia wouldn't have a chance.

Still don't understand your piercing logical argument based on the most reliable sources available. Please explain.

If you start out at 2:1 in the best case for Ukraine, but you have 3 macro trends that tend to narrow that advantage (and nothing which would widen it), how do you end up with 4:1?

Slide number 2 and 3: https://www.newsweek.com/2023/05/05/read-leaked-secret-intelligence-documents-ukraine-vladimir-putin-1794656.html#slideshow/2222794 (This was during the force build up for the Ukraine counter offensive starting Summer 2023 and the casualties represent those from the early part of the war where Ukraine did best)

I'm going to make a huge assumption, that our DoD and NATO internal documents, with folks on the ground in Ukraine (liaison, attache, etc) and direct open communications with Ukraine who we are in part directing and advising, likely know to the greatest accuracy known by anyone, what the casualties are.

Russia is winning on the ground and all we are left with is trying to carve out some perceived victory in our schadenfreude. That's why these bloated Russian casualty figures (the most amusing of which come from the UK) are so needed in the West.
