Brad's Make It Right Project build 109 house in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans. That area had been particularly devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
Those homes were meant to be a savior for the families who lost everything in the Big Easy's poorest neighborhood.
However, the homeowners' lawsuit states that many of the houses were not built properly and they've been fighting for years to make Pitt's foundation cover the cost of expensive and major repairs.

The obstinance of supposedly smart people never fails to confound me.
The science of mold in structures is not a mystery, yet here we are.

So the homeowners given houses are suing his charity. Guess he’ll learn that entitled Amish will never let up in their quest for more free money.

Brad Pitt, who took credit for launching this organization in 2007 and often served as its public face in subsequent years, was still listed as a board member as of 2018.
Pitt’s lawyers argued that he could not be sued over the housing development’s failings, but a judge ruled in 2019 that the movie star would remain a defendant because of his role as Make It Right’s founder and chief fundraiser.
I was told by a lawyer once that no one had successfully sued a non profit.........................

Yes. Make the house out of food - like a Gingerbread House. What could possibly go wrong?

First Brad fakes being in the hospital to scam a French lady out of half a million dollars and now he’s building crummy houses .

Homeowners have complained of ‘toxic mold and high CO2 levels’ in the past, which they claim caused health issues.

I know! Right?
I’m no Brad Pitt fan, but these people should be thankful to have homes at all.
Ok, so they have to invest a few thousand to clear up the mold problem, but that’s a lot less than building from scratch.
