The Tesla Tiny House 2025 represents a radical rethinking of affordable housing with specifications that seem almost impossible at its price point. Measuring precisely 240 square feet (20 by 12 by 9.5 feet), the structure is constructed primarily from Tesla's proprietary GreenCore composite materials—a revolutionary blend of recycled carbon fiber, plant-based resins, and recovered automotive-grade aluminum from Tesla's vehicle production waste stream. This advanced compound, developed in Tesla's Materials Science division, has been reformulated with a 37% stronger tensile strength than traditional building materials through a new molecular bonding process. This innovative material provides R-38 insulation value while weighing 64% less than traditional building materials, making the entire 1,850-pound unit portable enough to be towed

It makes a great backyard office.
College dorm is an excellent use. Probably more roomy.
I read that they can be stacked or combined for a bigger unit.
The price does not include land or utility hookups
AI generated nonsense. I fell for it once, but not anymore.
I watched a lengthy video on this. It is actually very cool. They are designed to be nearly self sufficient and with a modular design that allows you to add them together so you could actually make a 3 or 4 bedroom for about 30 grand. Pure genius.
It’s a hoax.
What's the 9.5 feet...the room height?
I rebuilt an older 3/2 mobile home, and it has about a third more space than I need. However, I have a complete set of electrical, plumbing, and construction equipment. So much so, that to get to one set of tools requires moving others. All of these are in a garage, three storage buildings and a tent. (I’m on five acres in the woods as I’ve had it with crazy neighbors. So, occasionally, I have a bull eating my plants.) The problem with a little house is it will be surrounded by people WAY too close for my tastes.
Please explain to me how you “fell for this”. Are you saying they don’t exist? Did Tesla lie to you about one or steal your money? I’ve never seen one but would like to. It seems odd that I would have heard about these for a while if they did not exist. I’d appreciate hearing about your experience.
Buy one of those sheds from Home Depot for a few hundred and equip it out the way you want. Place it on a trailer and away you go.
They punted on the most important question - how well do they attract tornadoes?
Do you have any info that’s not two years old? When YOU fell for this, what happened?
Put one on wheels and trail it....spokeshave with a new 4X4
Yup and that is a huge problem. The people who sell but dont live in these know proximity is an issue. Look at rack and stacked in apartment buildings. Same thing here. It causes stress and tension between people.
COSTS ABOVE DO NOT INCLUDE SITE PREP OR FOUNDATION.
Very interesting, indeed. Like a private in-law suite or autonomous parent’s pad. Shucks, might be good for my ham shack...
