Substitute teachers usually hope to make it through the day without incident. But one woman took the wrong route to solve a dispute. And a Florida substitute teacher asked her students one question that could land her in jail.
Geanene White, a 57-year-old, was called in to serve as a substitute teacher at the YMCA Tiger Academy in Jacksonville, Florida. White resorted to something not found in any teaching manual.
The charter school serves students in kindergarten through third grade.
White had her classroom break up into small groups to work on a project.
One of the elementary school students was not being cooperative with the substitute teacher.

Four students raised their hands and began taking turns to beat up the uncooperative boy.
White allegedly pushed the boy after the students were done beating him up, which caused him to “hit his head on the desk.”
The substitute teacher called for help, and two staff members at the elementary school came to her aid.
She never told them that the boy had been beaten up and instead told the staffers he “needed behavioral assistance.”
The students told staffers at YMCA Tiger Academy that White was encouraging students in her classroom to beat the boy up.
White denied the allegation and claimed that she did not ask anyone if they could beat the boy up.
But one of the students who volunteered for the fight told the police that the “teacher told him to do it” or else he would not have attacked his fellow student.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that the boy beaten up by his classmates had cuts and bruises on his face.
White was arrested and charged with child abuse and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor for ordering the beat down of the student.
YMCA Tiger Academy and the Duval County Public Schools claimed that they had conducted a thorough background check on White before she was hired as a substitute teacher.
The elementary school did damage control in a statement announcing that White had been fired after the incident.
“We immediately reported the incident to the Department of Children and Families, who are conducting an ongoing investigation in collaboration with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. All further inquiries about the incident should be directed to them,” the school added.
Geanene White could not keep her cool in the classroom, and it is going to cost her big time.
This one weird question can ruin your day!
The big reason “not to homeschool” is because if you homeschool your child they will miss out on the “socialization” you get in the government schools. This right here is an example of the “socialization”.
She was using GhettoLogic ® , it’s all she knows.

Thou shalt not disrespect the Ghettopotamus.
When we homeschooled for a couple of years the school told us the same thing? “Your child will miss out on the socialization with other kids.” I told them we didn’t want to raise socialists. They didn’t like that.
Evidently the background check wasn’t thorough enough to filter out a psycho. I have always gotten the impression that the bar was set pretty low for people who want to be subs, but come on.
Maybe in prison she will hear “who can Molly whop the fish” when she first arrives

She was not arrested for asking a question, as the headline states, but for allowing the beating to happen and not doing anything about it.
Judging by her hair, she doesn’t how to make good decisions.
Asking this one question can replace your full time job!
It wasn’t speech, it was her actions. Stupid headline. When I was in Catholic grammar school, there was a kid a year older than me in eighth grade, who was being raised by his grandmother with a different last name. The grandmother was elderly and worked in the school cafeteria. We kids didn’t like her because she had a nasty disposition. The grandson was, surprisingly, a problem child.
One day he pissed in the wastebasket in front of the whole class in the presence of the teacher who was a nun. He had a reputation as a tough guy, but so did some of the other boys in that class. One of them told me that they were praying for him to strike the nun, because despite how much they hated school, that would have been a bridge too far. They were dying to kick his ass.
I do not know what happened to him.
As I read the excerpt, and the post one, I thought to myself what kind of deranged piece of human filth would do something like this at 57 years old...
...and then I completely understood when I reached your post...
Just one shot gun blast to the face and leave her lay there for the insects...
“Stupid headline. “
Don’t blame the headline writer. This was actually a case where he took it from the story.
Good gravy what a stupid woman. I’m a teacher in Florida, and thankfully I work in a more right-leaning county, and I love the school where I work. We’ve had some doozy subs, though — one ghetopotamus actually got so angry in a class they wanted to throw hands with a middle schooler.
Yes, the kids can be obnoxious, but the best way I’ve learned to deal with the behavior is to ignore them. They want the reaction. When they don’t get it — you have the power, and eventually, they fall in line.
But to actually let them get under your skin enough to fight them? Yeesh.
That is one seriously unattractive broad! Any pictures of her nails? I’m betting they’re 3 inches long and cost $600
Look out - they've gotten very good with DNA evidence now days.
“Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?”
Henry ii concurs.

I wish your post had come earlier (but thanks for it anyway). I wasted time reading through the article to find that out.
I also wish other posters would start their posts with the essence of the article rather than the first paragraphs.
