A 24-year-old extreme eater, who gained fame on TikTok, died due to complications from obesity, according to a report. Efecan Kultur, 24, well known in his native Turkey for his ‘mukbang’ streams, in which he would gorge on massive amounts of food — died on Mar. 7 after spending three months in the hospital due to obesity-related health problems, according to Turkiye Today, citing a post on TikTok.
Amassing both a mammoth weight and following, with millions of views on TikTok, Kultur was forced to stop streaming due to being bed-ridden with health issues, such as bruising and breathing difficulties.
Kultur last posted on YouTube eight months ago and his TikTok feed featured its last mukbang on Oct. 15, with the streamer announcing in the video that he was eschewing extra salt because he was on a diet.

Why do people do this, and even more so, why do people watch this?
The world has gone mad. It could stand a good hard flush.
This puts a crimp into my latest job venture. I wanted to be a mukbanger. I wasn’t sure what it was but I knew I wanted some of that action. Now I have to go back to being a WalMart greeter.
Mukbang doesn’t sound like a Turkish word, and the guy looks Asian. What’s up with this?
I looked it up, and it comes from the Korean word for eating, but I think it’s worldwide now.
How much did he weigh?
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I can think of much hotter Korean babes who I wouldn’t mind watching eat an ice cream cone or a banana. But not this.
“Efecan Kultur, 24, well known in his native Turkey for his ‘mukbang’ streams, in which he would gorge on massive amounts of food — died on Mar. 7 after spending three months in the hospital due to obesity-related health problems”
well, at least he died doing what he loved: massive grotesque gluttony ...
“I wanted to be a mukbanger. I wasn’t sure what it was but I knew I wanted some of that action”
sigh ... you MADE me look up what a mukbanger is:
“A mukbanger is a person who eats large amounts of food in front of a camera and interacts with their audience.”
at least the capital outlay to enter the muckbanging racket is pretty small: internet camera and food ... plus muckbanging is MUCH easier than podcasting, as long as the food supply holds out ...
Gluttony
Gluttony sounds disgusting BUT . . you tell your friends your a mukbanger and it sounds impressive.
wonder if toilets have load ratings...
Toilets will handle about 1,000 pounds, wall-mount toilets about 500.
Prize won.
Eat to live, don’t live to eat.
LOL. Your remark reminds me of a hot blonde licking an ice cream cone many years ago. It was quite entertaining, and I think she knew exactly what she was doing.
