A California university is doing away with traditional men's and women's locker rooms in an effort to support transgender students - even as the state's governor condemns transgender athletes in female sports.

The University of California, Davis announced plans last month to renovate the locker rooms at its Activities and Recreation Center, citing student feedback as the motivation for the $5 million project.

'We value inclusive, accessible environments that accommodate the diverse needs of our community,' schools officials said at the time, according to Fox News.

'We are pleased to announce that we will be remodeling the current locker room facilities to implement universal locker rooms.

This isn't necessarily about fake women on women's teams: It sounds like the members of, e.g., two female soccer teams could play a match and then hit the showers only to discover that there are already male basketball players there, stripping down for a wash.

Women keep losing and just keep taking it. Why?

In my experience, most women do not like to lead: many of them don't like the responsibility of leadership. However, I would also say that most women don't like to follow: it's the "You're not the boss of me" syndrome.

What I see in life is that many women like drama and excitement. They will try to spark conflict. They will try to drive a situation into a confrontation. BUT they do not want to win that confrontation. They want to lose. If they win, they have to take responsibility for the outcome. And women are famously averse to accountability. But if they lose, they can celebrate their own victimhood. That's pretty much ideal.

So I think women like to set up situations of conflict in which they hope to lose endlessly, and always get to play the victim.

Note that this is far worse than a man on a women’s varsity team. This sounds like the general “campus Activities and Recreation Center” open to all students for exercise.

First it was relaxed curfews in women’s dormitories, then it was overnight “visitors” were allowed, then it was co-ed dorms with separate floors for men and women, then it was mixed-sex floors in the co-ed dorms, and now it’s one giant locker room and showers for all at the Rec Center.

I remember my hormones in those days. Mr. Wangdoodle would have been at rigid attention. Maybe that doesn’t happen these days with all the estrogen in our food and water.

Do the guys snap their towels on the girls’ butts? It’s all in good fun.
